Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Great Overall Car - 2004 Honda Accord
By ckthomas00 - March 9 - 10:00 amAfter researching MANY others, I decided to go with the Accord - agree with other reviews that it gives you a lot more bang for the buck, is very comfortable, and fun to drive. They keep their value, so that reselling is usually a breeze. This is my first new car and Im looking forward to little maintenance outside of the norm - oil changes, etc. Dependanble, reliable, great value - dont think you can go wrong.

Seduced - 2004 Honda Accord
By ljgbjgrpgmpg - March 9 - 10:00 amHave owned various Hondas since 1981 5 spd 4dr Accord - each is better than the last. We have a 2000 V-6 Sedan and just bought my wife a 2004 v-6 Coupe. I have driven it a bit - and it is seducing me - the silky smooth transmission and the effortless power of the V-6. The transmission is so smooth you could think it was a CVT. However, I like to stir the gears and if I get one, will be the 6 spd. Only change I would recommend to Honda - get rid of the fake wood in the ivory interiors - the brushed aluminum in the dark interiors is SO much better looking.

Bullet Proof - Honda for Life - 1991 Honda Accord
By ljp416jmp - March 9 - 2:00 amAn exceptional car. Bought new in 1991. 5-speed, 240K miles - ORIGINAL CLUTCH!!! New alternator recently, did new radiator at 175K. Did have broken interior door handles and hard starting in hot weather (2 known problems)...looking at new 2003 Accord but just cant justify it at this time (will eventually by another Accord)...I love this car too much!!

So far so good. - 2016 Honda Accord
By Melissa Kania - March 7 - 10:38 amThe car has great fuel efficiency without paying the price of a hybrid. The ride is pretty quiet. I really like the hub caps. The back up camera has a nice clear picture. There were not many interesting colors to choose from so I got the dark gray. I did not like that I had to upgrade to the EX-L version to get heated seats and then had to pay for a moon roof that I did not want.

Best Long-term Car - 1995 Honda Accord
By Jonny - March 7 - 2:00 amIf you want a long-lasting, no hassle car, cant beat the Accord. Mine has 145,000 and has never had a problem. Both the interior and exterior still look good after all the years. Decent power and 30+ mpg with regular unleaded beats most cars made today, great for one 7 years old. I would recomend this car to anyone who wants a good used car. For reference, I sold my old 1992 Accord with 185,000 miles and it never had a problem either.

Accord Hybrid - great mileage & perform - 2007 Honda Accord
By Clean & green - March 6 - 10:56 amWow, I was strictly a V-8 man before purchasing this V-6 Hybrid beauty. I get 35 to 38 mpg highway and around 25 in town. Comfort, style, and great handling in this car. I actually bought two 07 Honda Accords, one for my wife (4cyl) non hybrid and the 6cyl Hybrid for me. She loves her Accord also -- it gets 34mpg hwy. Honda quality and workmanship throughout. Too bad Honda has made the decision to discontinue the Accord as a Hybrid. I really dont think they marketed the car that well. I didnt know Honda built an Accord in Hybrid form until I saw one at the dealership.

Love the Accord - 2009 Honda Accord
By Sharon Deis - March 6 - 4:53 amBe prepared to have a car that works every time you get in to it. The back seat is just as comfortable as the front seats. Very low maintenance costs. This car will last 20 years if you want to drive it that long! The look of the car is timeless, many cars built today look similar.

Power and Style for less $ - 2009 Honda Accord
By Brian in Louisiana - March 5 - 12:20 pmHere is the breakdown: Ive owned 6 Hondas (civic, preludes, accords). This car is more fun to drive than all those put together. I just traded in a 06 V6 Accord sedan 6 MT. Wanted something more sporty but dependable. Test drove a Lexus IS, Infiniti G37, and BMW 328i. All great in their own way. All at least 10K more than I paid for the Honda. Didnt make sense paying the extra change when the practical and fun choice was the Accord. Car has many extra features that are add-ons on the other cars. Car is black on black and it turns heads. Wasnt a big fan of the sedan design (little too big), but love the coupe. Before you buy any coupe in the 25-30K range, test drive this car!

Buy it !!!!!! - 2008 Honda Accord
By Vincent Scott - March 4 - 4:26 amAccord sedan Lx-P (cyl.) 5speed auto I went to test drive the 2008 civic EX . They didnt have it in black the salesman suggested the Accord they met my offer. I test the car and was very impressed with the looks and the 4cyl was adequate since gas mileage was very important to me.other car was Accura TL/Lincoln LS V8. I expected a little better gas mileage avg, approx 26 mpg. not bad on 70% highway driving and 30% city.1100 miles now . I would highly recommend to friends
