Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

I owned this car for about a year and half. I had the 3.0 V6 Engine and it was extremely fast! Great car. Only issues I had were the wheel bearing which needed to be replaced, brakes and the starter. Im not sure if it was the starter but sometimes when I would start it up it would lose power and turn off, like it wasnt getting enough power or gas to start up completely. Great car for traveling. The leather seats and sunroof were my favorite. If youre going to get this model Honda get the EX V6 with the leather seats! :) Very stylish and shiny car!

I drove a 2002 Bonneville SE for the longest time. Then I graduated college and decided to sell ole reliable and get something with updated safety and overall technology amenities. I had heard a great deal of great things about the reliability of Hondas and the safety of the Accord. So I decided to check it out and fell in love at first drive. I have the 2012 sedan V6 EX-L. I got it certified pre-owned through a Honda dealer in Michigan (who by the way has been fantastic from start to present -- they even held the car for me when I wasnt sure if I was going to get the job I have now). Gas mileage, size, and safety were the reasons I got this car but this thing has gone above and beyond. The attention to detail of button placement, quality of materials, and even the RIDE is incredible. Im used to an air suspension from my boat of a Bonneville so its not luxury standard, but I can definitely feel some Acura refinements in this suspension and ride quality. The steering and transmission are snappy when I need them to be and it has an overall solid, controlled feel when I drive it which makes me feel even better about being on the road in it. I do a LOT of city driving and my typical combined loop is the higher end of 26 mpg(eco is incredible). My highest recorded MPG is from a trip I made from Chicago to Lansing and that was about 42.7 MPG. This is the perfect blend of sporty, SAFE, comfortable, and reliable that a recent college grad (or anyone, really) can ask for and I highly recommend. Plus its easy on the eyes. Ive had it for about four months and Ive only put 9K (bought it with 20K on odometer) on it but I plan on taking this to the 200K mark unless Im convinced to trade in for a newer Accord! Hope this helps for those who are serious about their vehicle shopping, good luck out there!

Really didnt like the looks of the sedan, but the coupe gives you the best of both worlds if you dont need 4 doors. Great vehicle--fun, looks, and value. What else is there.

I have owned my Accord from day 1, it has been trustworthy, reliable, and virtualy maintanence free! I recently decided to power up the underpowered motor with a turbo, and replace the suspension with polyurethane bushings, and coilovers. I now race it in autocross every week with 70,000 original miles on it! I wish I had realized its potential earlier!

A smooth ride and great handling car. The car has a 268 hp engine which provides plenty of power for passing and yet the car gets 31 to 33 mpg the interior of the car is well laid out and the controls and gauges are easy to read and handle the fit and finish of the car is flawless a well built car the exterior design is smooth and flowing well done without excessive curves and as usual the Honda reliability remains its strong point I love driving this car I hate to get out of it at days end this is the first Honda Ive purchased ill never drive anything other than a Honda again

03 Honda Accord EX Sedan 4cyl with auto and NAV. Great design, GREAT interior comfort! Room for 5 midsize adults. 23-28.5 mpg city 31.2-35.0 mpg highway What other sedan of this size can compete? I love the Navigation, VERY easy to use. Ambient lighting is neat. 6 cd changer is good, steering wheel controls GREAT for people who use to take there eyes off the road (like me) at 72,000 miles starting to "putt putt" a little. Im 6 foot 1 and hit my knees under the steering column everytime I get out! I dont feel that the brakes, braking system and ABS system work as good as they can. Feels like youre stopping a Suburban, not a midsize sedan.
