Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Having Second Thoughts - 2013 Honda Accord
By aviationguy - March 29 - 1:30 pmIve had my 2013 Accord EX for almost four months. I initially rated it very high, but there have been things happen that are very disappointing. The wind noise has gotten worse and Honda doesnt seem to know how to fix it. The trunk lid doesnt fit properly and the dealership has only made excuses for it (no fix). The CVT has a judder at low speeds that is common with the Accord, but Honda hasn t propsed a fix. The windshield has leaked twice (doesnt always leak, though, when it rains). And now, theres an annoying rattle in the drivers side door.

Are you sure its not an Acura? - 2009 Honda Accord
By mcitv08 - March 29 - 11:46 amThe 2009 Honda Accords interior quality, fit and finish can be easily confused with that of an Acura. The overall design of the new Accord Coupe is very stunning, sexy, elegant and aggressive. Performance of the inline 4 cylinder 2.4 I-Vtec motor produces 190 hp transported through a smooth 5 speed automatic delivering more than enough power to commute around town. One downfall is the EPA rating 21 city 31 highway. We had always expected better than that from Honda. Overall, it is an excellent vehicle, very reliable, and of course its a Honda so the vehicle always keeps its value

My first Honda - 2006 Honda Accord
By First Honda - March 27 - 11:13 amThis is the first Honda I have owned. I purchased the VP. It had all the safety features I was looking for in a car. Features that came standard and not optional as in most american cars.

No regrets whatsoever - 2006 Honda Accord
By Jobuck - March 26 - 11:03 pmIt may exude practical, but it does it so well for around 20K. Excellent room for my tall family and it has surprisingly great performance for a four cyl (HP and MPG). I dont cringe when offering the rear seat to a tall person. It has reasonably tight drivabilty and you can feel the road. Fit and trim all seem flawless. Though a couple more options/features might be nice I wont complain about it. Nice wheels and grippy brakes (I dont understand negative reviews in this area). The engine compartment is spacious and orderly. I really appreciate the end result of Hondas effort in building a well engineered car that I enjoy looking at and can afford to own.

Ive never recommended a car to anyone.. - 2003 Honda Accord
By Echo Vector - March 26 - 2:50 pm....because other than a BMW, which needs no recommendation, Ive never owned a car Id say was worth buying, and Ive had plenty. We were more or less forced into the Accord after the lease on our CRV ran out ( what a miserable machine THAT was! ) and Ill admit that I was not very "open minded" about this car from day one. Now, two years later, I simply cant say enough good things about it. We havent had the first bit of trouble, for a 4 cyl, it is VERY "peppy", and good lord does it have long legs; 20mpg city, *40*mpg hwy running the air and using the cruise control. Im a fairly large fellow, but I dont feel cramped in the cockpit. I wont hesitate for an moment to recommend this car!

It has some inprovements to be made. - 2004 Honda Accord
By Pasquales - March 26 - 2:00 amI sell real estate and I get a lot of compliments on the car. As a full time driver with 30-35 thousand miles a year on a car I am in this automobile a lot. There is a clunking sound when you turn corners, back up a distinctive shift clunk! I hate that about this car.The second thing I did not like was the navigation system was not up to date. Any street that is 5 years or more was indicated on the system, but new things are not. They tell me the disks are updated every 5 years. In a area where there are new subdivisions and it constantly grows you need more up to date CDÂ’s. On star gives live up to the minute information.

Honda goes the way of Detroit - 2004 Honda Accord
By No More Hondas - March 26 - 2:00 amThis is the 4th Honda I have owned, 91,93,02 and now a 03 EX V6 Accord Sedan. This car is dangerous and should be recalled by the Federal government. Steering wheel vibrations, steering drift and suspension are totally unacceptable. Will dump this car as soon as I can. Reminds me of my 75 Dodge Charger another disaster. Honda warranty a joke. Back to Infinity for me. A Sonta would be a better choice.

Best yet - 2005 Honda Accord
By s.a. - March 25 - 3:20 pmI have owned quite a few cars and until now, with the exception of a VW beetle in the 70s (forgive me; it was the time) I had always bought American made, and always had issues before long. When my son was eighteen and bought his first car, he bought a four door, four cylinder Accord. While nice looking, reliable and easy on insurance esp with a teenager at the wheel, it didnt seem to have that extra kick. So last year when I needed to decide something about a vehicle, I saw an ad for the 2dr coupe and well, it is sitting in my garage now. Black with black leather and maxed out with the 6 cylinder engine, I havent had so much fun driving ever. I LOVE THIS CAR. and so will you.

a great little wagon - 1991 Honda Accord
By mica - March 25 - 2:00 amthis is my second Accord Wagon EX Ive owned. The car is amazingly nimble for its size. With the EX power package, it feels extremely confortable to travel in. The trunk size makes it an excellent little wagon to carry lots of stuff in, while car size is still small enough to navigate the city and park it
