Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Great Car - 1993 Honda Accord
By ryguy - April 11 - 2:00 amI just bought this car four months ago and it is simply the best!! I upgraded from a little Honda Civic to a more powerful Accord. I am very happy with the power that is has! I am also VERY happy with the very low maintenence on the engine! I have NO rust and is still going strong. I am very glad I have a Honda as my parents are having with their 96 Windstar that just hit 100k!! (the problems are here!!!) I have and I will always say: Ford should learn from the Japanese to get the product right, THE FIRST TIME!!

Best Car Period - 1995 Honda Accord
By CA Hondadude - April 10 - 2:00 amThis is the best car I have ever owned. I have owned several makes and models of different classes(American, Japanese, German)and this car is the best value for your money. You get a pleasurable driving experience, adequate luxury without getting the gadgety garbage you never use on other makes, and most important a car that simpley wont break down.

Impeccable quality - 1990 Honda Accord
By J M - April 8 - 2:00 amI have loved my Accord. I purchased the car used in 1993 because of its reputation for reliabilty. (Anything would be a step up from a Chevy Lumina). The Honda did not disappoint. The car now has more than 261,000 miles, with the original engine, transmission, clutch. The car just keeps going and going. Regular, obsessive maintenance is important. The car may be bland, but my wallet is happy. All are surprised that the car looks and acts younger than it is. Sadly, I have decided to sell it -- I purchased a used Acura RL with 132,000 mile, half the miles of my Accord. Shall I be as lucky?!?

Terrific so far - 2005 Honda Accord
By Ed - April 6 - 10:00 pmThis is my first Japanese car. So far, I am really enjoying it. I bought it for the safety (front, side, and side curtain airbags and a good structure), the comfort, and the gas mileage. I was used to a gas-guzzling Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, and the Honda is head and shoulders better in all categories. Its smooth, quiet, gets great gas mileage (30 MPG so far).

Look at a Toyota - 2001 Honda Accord
By jwood - April 6 - 10:00 amI just purchased a 2001 Honda Accord EX with 64,000 miles on it. I have a 2002 Acura TL Type S and love it but wanted a car to use to travel to work in and save miles on my Acura. Well I knew that Honda Motors were having problems with transmissons but I went ahead and purchased the Accord because I thought it was a sound car. Boy was I ever wrong its now in the shop having a new tranny put in it. Go buy I toyota.

Great Value - 2003 Honda Accord
By rsr72 - April 6 - 10:00 amTraded in a SUV for the Accord. What have we been thinking... Car buyers lusting after these SUV beasts! The Accord has so many features! We paid just $21400! Leather, dual-climate control, power moonroof, 6-disc in-dash CD changer, 5-speed automatic plus 30 mpg and a great safety rating. Do you think you could get all that in an SUV? The 160HP 4 cyl has plenty of power and I feel is a better value than the 240HP V6.

My 13th Honda - 2003 Honda Accord
By Phil Tatum - April 6 - 10:00 amBought a Civic in 1975 and then 12 Honda Accords. Previously I owned everything from Volkswagons to Cadillacs and none compare to the quality and reliabilty of the Honada. I love the power of the 2003 V6 (240 HP..it will zip when you put it to the floor. Like I said this is my 13th Honda...highly recommend to everyone!!

Great car, Nav system is tops! - 2003 Honda Accord
By NewHondaFan - April 6 - 10:00 amTested Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Volkswagen, Chevy, Cadillac, Mercedes- Benz, and others. The Accord is the best family sedan currently being manufactured (7-series excepted). The Honda voice-controlled computer/nav system is the best on the market, beating Cadillac and MB hands down. Its a shame that most reviewers arent avvy enough to report on it more. Its not all about the computer system, though. The drivers seat is incredible in its ability to soothe my aching back. Ive owned cars with good back support, but none compares to this Accord. All around, this is a fabulous car.
