Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • No regrets - 1995 Honda Accord

Dependable and economical are an understatemet! Over 7 years and 135,000 miles, not once have I regreted buying this car. Its been used for local driving, coast to coast trips and towed behind a motorhome for about 35,000 miles and still tight and it runs, drives like the day I bought it new. The only times its been in the shop is for routine Honda maintenance items. Parts replaced to date are: tires, battery (last year) wiper blades and one warped brake rotor (under warranty). I plan to keep it for a long time yet. When its replaced, it will most likely be with another Honda product.

You cant beat this cars reliability. 112,000 miles with only minimal repairs. Its the car we choose for a four-adult road trip. Lots of space in the hatch (we brought home a 32 inch TV in it). The interior and exterior are wearing well. Id consider another one if Honda still made them.

I never owned a Honda until 1991 I bought a 1990 w/15000 miles. Ive never kept a car this long nor have I ever experienced such reliability and worry free ownership. I keep the oil changed and everything maintained and today it still rides and drives great! Most would not consider my 4 dr Accord an exciting car since it is a 4 cyl/auto. However, it is exciting to save all the money in repairs and gas prices and its excitng to be able to save for the next car while still enjoying the one you have. Its no slug on the road either: it has more pick up than many 6 cyl Ive driven. Im no pokey driver! Even the air doesnt bog it down.

  • Great Car, But a Few Things Missing - 2010 Honda Accord

My Accord EXL V6 is almost everything I could wish for. Smooth power, nice handling, lots of features, good looks. It replaced my 10 year old Saab 9-5 and Im delighted with it so far.

  • Worth the Wait - 2013 Honda Accord

I have been waiting to buy a new car for a while now and test drove, the optima sx, Hyundai 2.0, Camry, Altima v6 and finally the 2013 Honda accord v6. Out of all the cars, the Honda has surpassed all them in the feel and power. I read alot of negativity on blogs and other websites, but i think these people need to get behind the wheel of this baby. The interior was well spaced out, the backup camera moves with the wheel (cool). The overall look from the outside has a Acura look and feel with a Honda price .

  • Completely In Love - 2005 Honda Accord

I havent even had my Accord coupe for a month yet but I know that I struck gold when I picked this car. The performance is excellent considering that it is a 4 cyl (no problems merging onto highways). I considered waiting a year to buy an Acura TL, but the Accord has almost everything the TL does plus its sportier because of the 2-door option and more importantly, much less expensive but every bit as reliable. No regrets here!

  • Great deal for the $ - 2006 Honda Accord

This is my second Accord EX, first with the V6. its about time they offered a 6 speed manual!!. Short shifter is great, but the shift knob just seems too small for me. Other than that, its great. Good scceleratioon, though it doesnt feel anywhere close to 244hp. My 2000 Audi A6 2.7T (250 hp) blew the doors off of this thing, but the Honda handles 10 times better.

  • Good functional car - 1995 Honda Accord
    By -

The care is good overall. The car is very functional. It runs & is fairly reliable (especially versus my previous car an Oldsmobile) Problems experienced thus far: 1. Engine gasket seal blew out before the issue was recalled by Honda (at about 50K miles) 2. Driver power window regulator broke (at 115K miles) 3. Oil pan began to leak due to another weak gasket (116K miles) 4. Radio goes in & out, dealer cant figure out why (112K miles) Over all satisfied with the car, held up well despite a lot of miles & years on the car
