Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Awesome - 2005 Honda Accord

After waiting since November, I just got my new white Accord Hybrid. It was worth the wait! The exterior is sporty with its aerodynamic lines, mini spoiler, and satellite antenna. Its interior is cozy, loaded with features like separate climate control for driver and passengers, voice activated navigation and audio systems, comfy leather seats, and fully adjustable drivers seat.

As a former owner of a BMW 325 and and X5 I was skeptical that the new Accord would have much to offer particularly when my wifes 05 and sister-in-laws 07 Accords were to me, fairly boring. I was not overly impressed with the early photos I saw of this vehicle online either. However, once I was in the V6 version (the 4 is a dog) that all changed. It looks sharp, seems much larger than it looks, is quick, and handles like a dream. It is right on par with my old 325. I passed on the nav system as it is no longer a touch screen and is far more difficult to use than last years version. Very solid build. Richer interior than past Accords. Little road noise even with 17 inch wheels.

  • Nice, but with problems - 2008 Honda Accord

How did Honda build a bigger Accord with more horsepower and keep the same fuel economy? THEY DIDNT!! The advertised 21 city/31 hwy is way off. Ive put 1000 miles on mine and Im averaging about 19 MPG. Living in Los Angeles I do a lot of city driving, but my previous car (03 Toyota Highlander w/ V6) got the same fuel economy. Not good for a 4 cyl sedan. The ride is also hard. Again, my SUV felt softer. Otherwise the car is comfortable, stylish, spacious and it handles well. The navi, Bluetooth, XM radio features are great. Get this car if you want a stylish family sedan with a good track record. Dont get it if you want good fuel economy & luxury ride.

  • Still alive and kicking!!! - 1996 Honda Accord

I got this baby when it was barely broken in at 25K miles. Now the car has 142K and so far, it cost me $300 in repair (muffler and tubing, recently) O2 sensor was replaced at 110K under warranty from Honda but even if I had to pay for it, it would have been under $1000 total in repair over the life of the car. This car still rides well and gives me 26M/Gal in Mixed hway and city driving. (during winter. now a days about 28M/Gal) I am hoping to drive until 200K. That will be coming in 3 more years.. :)

  • Anybody wants to buy mine... - 2007 Honda Accord

Its a Honda! quality, reliable its going to be. But on another note had three Hondas before this one, and to be honest, Im kind of disappointed with the Accord LX. The interior looks just like the 1993 civic that I had. They went to basic, on the LX model at least. Not so great for long trips neither. The radio could use some extra amps, its hard to hear music with the windows down. It seems like the new Civic has more futures and it just looks like it was made in this century. Looking forward to trade mine in for a Civic EX. Sorry Accord LX not so top of the line in my reviews. Hope this its helpful.

  • Imagine More 4 Less - 2006 Honda Accord
    By -

Thats right! Honda has done it time and time again, we recevied more for less for our dollars. This is our third Honda. 1st two were Civics, and this time my wife wanted an upgrade so we considered and purchased the Accord EX-L. Considered Acura, Toyota, Volvo, but glad we stayed with Honda. Unbelievable power, response, and smoothness from the 2.4L 4 cyl. due in part to the technological advancements like the "Drive by Wire" throttle control. This is the same engine thats in the Acura TSX de-tuned but for $5-6K less. Feels like a little V- 6. Great gas mileage and handling. Love the leather. Yes, we did receive more for less!

I had a sedan and find the handling better on the coupe. It has plenty of power for a 4 cylinder engine and handles well.

  • Sport CVT- The way to go! - 2013 Honda Accord
    By -

After looking at my sedans and a current Mazda owner.. I chose the Accord Sport CVT Sedan. The dark blue color is amazing, the appearance options that the sport offers are very attractive, and the CVT with paddle shifters are amazing! The seats compared to the other sedans were the most comfortable and the 10 way power seat is great. The quality of the interior is very good! Lots of rear seat room. Id recommend this car. I drove the Mazda6... And it was the biggest competition. After owning several Mazdas... I wanted something that would hold value more so I went with Honda, and not looking back! I opted for a 7 year 84,000 mile warranty too.

  • Terrific Car - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

Bought through Cars Direct, at 200 below invoice. I really like sticks, unfortunately the 6 does come with one (for the sedan). Excellent car for the money, surprisingly powerful, good mileage(~27-28 mpg over 4000 miles), very roomy and comfortable. Easy to drive, all controls extremely well designed. Very smooth 4 cyl-very easy to be in 4th or even 3rd gear on the highway and not notice it. Lots of interior places for stuff. Interior is very attractive(mine has the leather). Exterior really grows on you, only blemish the rear end.

  • Honda Accord EX - 2001 Honda Accord

The 2001 Acoord EX is a fun vehicle to drive. It offers a surprisingly quick 4 cylinder. The exterior offers sleek styling, while the interior is a spacious family sedan. You get piece of mind when you buy a Honda, due to reliability and performance.
