Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Real Honda satisfaction - 1996 Honda Accord

Simply a great, dependable car that drives very well. Accord currently has 113000 miles, Ive owned it for the last 40000. Outside of routine maintenance (tune-up, timing belt, etc.) only expense was a faulty emission sensor. As with every Honda Ive owned, the gas mileage has been better than advertised. I consistently get 30mpg+ with this Accord. I cant imagine owning a different brand of car.

  • Runs Forever - 2005 Honda Accord

This is our 3rd Accord LX 4 cylinder (See similar reviews under 97 Accord and 2000 Accord Runs Foverer). 97 LX model has 209000 miles & still going strong with no major repairs, 2000 LX model has 73000 miles with no repairs. The new 2005 model finds an excellent middle ground between the 97, which runs and feels like a sports coupe / 2+2, and the 2000 which drives and feels more like a traditional family sedan. I switched from Toyota after blowing the head gaskets in our 92 3.0 liter V6 engine twice (@ 85K and 140K miles) due to an engine design defect which necessitated a complete engine rebuild. No more toyotas for this driver.

This is a great car. Far surpassed the 2003 model I traded in.

  • Hondas Best - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

I researched several other cars, including the Camry, Impala, Malibu, Mazda 6, Nissan Altima, to name a few and no other vehicle even came close to gaining my allegience. Myself, my wife and 3 kids test drove a 2004 Camry over to the Honda dealership, but after getting out and looking just at the sexy body style, simultaneously said "you might as well take the Camry back to the dealership", because it was a no brainer decision. The Accord is far more appealing inside and out. I paid $14,500 for my 89 Accord Coupe LXi 15 years ago and just paid $23,200 for a loaded 2004 Accord EX-L with XM Radio. The Honda Accord is still the best value on the market!

  • Great car with a few rattles - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

This is an unbelievable car at this price. That being said it has interior rattels. Most notably from the dash but also the sunroof. As much as I hate to do it, the dashboard rattles have become bad enouth that Im going to have the dealer take it apart. This may just be new model growing pains and hopefully will be corrected on the 04. This seems to be a common problem on the 03 coupe.

  • New redesign is awesome! - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

I leased a 2000 Accord and traded in for the new Accord. It is completely redesigned and has more power and features than its predecessor. New features such as a 160hp V-4, remote keyless entry, AM/FM/CD are just some of the reasons as well as Hondas reliability. Great car, guys!

my honda is reliable, fast when I need the acceleration, comfortable, service is good most of the time. great engine,0- 60 is fine.like the heated seats, the sound quality of the stereo could be better and so could the speakers. overall the car is fun and for the money, the best in its price range.

  • Second Time Around - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

This is my second Honda Accord EX. My first was a 1998. I actually like the body type of the 1998 better than the 2003. However, I like the additional ammenities in the 2003 better. The ride is fantastic. You would never guess you are driving a 4 cylinder car. I love it!
