Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Honda Accord Hybrid - 2005 Honda Accord
By Pat Leblanc - May 31 - 9:36 pmAbsolutely love this car. Have 10,000 KM since purchased on April 2 (Its August now)and I am averaging 8.4 l/100 KM for the entire life of the car. Handling is great for a large sedan with acceleration extremely quick and impressive. The electric motor seems like it is pulling you along. Would never even think about purchasing an Acura TL. Best feature - when I am picking up my wife I stop in the parking lot with my foot on the brake and enjoy the A/C without the engine running. Note: The review that stated they purchased the first one in Canada, would have to have bought it before April 2, 2005 to beat my purchase.(Did the salesman tell a fib???)

Serving Me Well - 1993 Honda Accord
By kmd - May 31 - 2:00 amThe easiest purchase I ever made was my Honda EX Accord. Its reputation for being long-lasting sold me before I stepped into the showroom ten years ago. My Honda is approaching 80,000 miles without having any major problems. Several people have asked if Im ready to sell but I just cant part with a valued friend!

Still Going Strong - 1993 Honda Accord
By Blix - May 30 - 2:00 amI bought this car used in 1995 to replace my 83 Accord. Take care of these cars and they will last. I have 127k miles on it and it runs as great as the day I bought it. I get 32 MPG on average in the city, about 34 highway.

97 Accord EX - 1997 Honda Accord
By Remus - May 30 - 2:00 amIve had the car for almost 2 years now. Good sedan that gets good gas mileage. I wished theyve used a DOHC head instead of the SOHC. Good response. Car is slow up the hill and loud engine noise. The windows roll up too slow. Very comfortable. A/C sucks. No problems with the car since Ive owned it.

Honda ex v6 4dr spokane - 2003 Honda Accord
By CRAIG - May 29 - 7:30 pmThe car is built well, fast and at times fun to drive . The drivers seat should have better lumbar support. Things i hate about it are small , the handles above the drivers head and also on the passenger side buzz along with a rattle in the center of the dash that comes and goes.

Do your research. - 2008 Honda Accord
By what? - May 29 - 4:36 pmFirst I am 64" and 235 lbs. I fit in the Coupe comfortably. The seat has to be far back so my head does not hit the ceiling. Leg room is adequate. The interior is nicely equipped and I like the XM radio but not the monthly fee. The exterior is ok and looks pretty sharp in the metallic color. The ride is somewhat rough and very noisy. My Toyota Tacoma truck is quieter than this Honda when traveling at high speed. I drive a Charger at work and the Charger rides nicer and is quieter as well. The 4 cylinder is very slow when you need it to go from a dead stop. Go for the 6 cylinder if you can afford it.

Best all around car ever! - 1995 Honda Accord
By David Kim - May 29 - 2:00 amI bought this car off of my mom (over a period of 4 years!) and have driven it for 5 years now. There are a very few flaws, but so many more positive things to say about this car. I have had no major or even minor problems with this car. I just do the basic maintenance by changing the oil, spark plugs, other fluids, etc and I have yet to take it to the shop for a problem! The only thing I wish for is more power, but I was stuck with the 135hp from the LX. The EX has 145, and V6 has 160 I believe.

Nice Car - 1992 Honda Accord
By mtn_man - May 29 - 2:00 amMy 3rd accord - out of order first came 89 lxi coupe, second came the 00 lx sedan and now my favorite - 92 ex sedan. I guess they just dont make things the way they used to. Bought it with 91k miles and did minimal preventative maintanance to ensure another 100k of trouble free miles.
