Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • 140,000 and still going strong!! - 1993 Honda Accord

This is my second accord. I traded in my 1989 too prematurely (it had no problems what-so ever!) but I have not looked back ever since. The car goes and goes...fast! It is very stable on the highway. The engine is still peppy! The best people mover car. I expect to either give it to my son or continue to ride into the sunset! No major repairs, just normal maintainance. I will by another before I die! Smokey

  • Why pay more for an Acura? - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought this car a little over 1 year ago and have already managed to put 27,000 miles on it. So far I have had exactly one problem that was covered under warranty. At about 10,000 miles the break rotors were warped rather badly, but the dealership resurfaced them and I have had no problems since. Gas mileage has ranged between 23 and 31 miles per gallon. Handling is much improved from the previous model (98-02), and the extra 40 horsepower makes a difference as well. The only reason I could think of for paying an extra $7 grand for an Acura TL is the styling and the 6-speed manual. The only thing this car needs is all wheel drive. Other than that, I would call it perfect.

  • Great car! - 1993 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought this car just last year and it had 93,000 miles on it. It now has 118,000 miles on it and i have done nothing but the usual maintenance. I am now trying to see it, but only because i am getting a Prelude. These cars are built very well and will last for a long time. I really like the alloy wheels, spoiler, and overall look of the accord. The sound system is actually decent for a 93 car. GREAT CAR!

I own a 2007 Honda Accord EX-L (I4). This is the best car I ever owned. The ride comfort is awesome!! Heated seats and mirrors. Automatic Dual-Zone climate control. Standard auto drivers seat. Standard power moonroof on my model.

  • Honda Accord EX V6 - 2002 Honda Accord

The 2002 Honda Accord EX V6 is an outstanding automobile. No vehicle in this class gives you more "bang for the buck." It drives like a much more expensive car and the quality of workmanship is outstanding. Since driving off the Dealers lot,I have found nothing out of place or wrong with it. It drives and handles like a dream.

very good quality, excellent gas mileage added no oil, then changed oil at 7000 miles.

  • Nice Car With Minor Flaws - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

I purchased my 2008 Accord LX-S 2Door in January of 2008. The car is very sharp looking and has some nice size to it for a 2 door. There is an abundance of headroom without the sunroof, which I love. The 190-hp 2.4 is semi-quick, and good for daily driving. I have have had some problems fixed under warranty: 1. Trunk was misaligned from factory (fixed under warranty), 2. Tail lights were rubbing where they meet rear quarter panels causing paint chipping (fixed under warranty) 3. Trunk lid sometimes "clunks" when opening the car (not fixed yet). Gas mileage is OK, averaging about 23-24 city - 31 highway normal driving, I dont drive fast, but I dont drive slow either.

  • 2008 Honda Accord LX 4dr Sedan - 2008 Honda Accord

I bought my Honday last May. Overall the 08 Accord is a solid vehicle with some minor annoying flaws. This car is very comfortable car to drive. It handles well and I dont fell any vibration when the car shifts gear. The LX Accord car is a very powerful car especially to be a low model Accord. This car have a easy time drive up hills and does not struggle like my previous car. The most annoying problem I have with the Accord is the noise problem. While driving on the interstate you can hear every time the engine revs up or shifts gears. While driving on the interstate with the window down, the wind makes an annoying sound as it bounce against the interior of the car.
