Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Good, but not the best - 2004 Honda Accord
By Kenny Pomalis - June 23 - 4:33 pmHondas are known for their reliability and build quality, but I beg to differ with the later. Dont get me wrong, my 240hp MT 6spd Accord is more than the average grocery getter. I was surprised by the get up and go. This car is a definite sleeper especially when that VTEC kicks in....look out automatics with less than 290HP. OK, here is the downside, inferior leather seats that crack too soon even with the use of high quality leather care products. Paint is chipping down to bare metal due to only one coat of paint. The dash rattles and creaks around the driver side "A" pillar. had a few problems with the car being hard to start on the first try. Spring in trunk stopped working. The G35 is a better car.

Great Buy - 2006 Honda Accord
By Peech22 - June 23 - 1:36 pmThe Honda Accord SE is by far one of the best sedans considering the price. Its smooth and has most features that the EX carries, but for much less in cost.

I want to love the car but I cant - 2016 Honda Accord
By Denis Be-n - June 21 - 1:19 pmPurchasing a brand new vehicle for the first time in my life is a very exciting event. I had very high expectation from upgrading from used up 2004 Accord to brand new 2016 EX-L model. I love the design and acceleration, CarPlay is cool.... This could be a perfect car, BUT I can not understand how Honda can ignore two simple issues, that just make me thinking that this is my last Honda. The first problem is wind noise. It is simply horrible, not better than any other car from 90-s. No improvements at all on trying to make it a little quitter, to match up with competitors. This is really annoying and doesnt make any ride enjoyable. The second problem appears when I try to eliminate the wind noise by playing loud music. Guess what, load music causes vibration of the whole rear deck with the subwoofer. The stop light is so close to the glass, that light vibration of the deck causes the plastic to vibrate and periodically with high frequency hit the rear glass. This creates annoying rattling noise. So I make the volume lower, but then I here annoying wind noise... Most importantly, the dealer agreed to repair both of these issues, that cost me nothing but loosing hours of my personal work time. Both repairs are not successful and it was just a waste of time trying to fix manufacturers pour design. Btw, the dealer doesnt accept that this is a result of pour design.... They offered the repairs covered by warranty, but they all were not effective with no improvements. Such confusing situation. Even if I am willing to pay to fix it, I cant fix it and no one can! I had to do what I originally planned to do, buy a more luxury but slightly used vehicle, in which, at least I would enjoy the ride while paying more for the repairs....

Love my Accord - 2006 Honda Accord
By jag57 - June 21 - 4:06 amGreat Car! This is the first Honda I have ever owned and I love it. I have owned my LX for one month now and have 3400 miles on it. The 4 cyl. is great. We drove 4 adults with lots of luggage and traveled over Colorado mountain passes and you couldnt believe how much power it had and the gas mileage was still 30 mpg. On one trip I got 38 mpg. I also got my 1st ticket in this car, it has so much power and fun to drive that I wasnt paying attention.

Dont Believe the Negativity - 2008 Honda Accord
By HondaLover - June 20 - 3:50 amI have read the reviews. I have nothing bad to say about my car. I bought the Red Coupe 24 hours ago and I have already put 150 miles on it. I read the negativity, I have not any of those issues thus far. There is no noise when driving. There are no blind spots, just use your side mirrors correctly. The plug for my iPhone is in a great place. This is my fourth Honda and my first Accord. I had my last 1993 Honda Civic for 11 years. I was just ready for a upgrade and it was good to me until the last few years. Follow the instructions on how to buy a new car. It really help me get my car only $500 over invoice and 4.9% interest rate. I came in already financed, so I came with buying power.

More than met expectations - 1994 Honda Accord
By Indolawson - June 20 - 2:00 amI have owned Hondas in the past and currently own two. This 94 Accord is what I expected--enough power, acceptable comfort, good styling, and extremely reliable.

I am back to Honda - 2010 Honda Accord
By Joel - June 19 - 9:46 pmMany cars today are close in quality and price and the choice is wide. So, I am reaching down to the soul of this auto to base my review. Peel away the layers and you find a very well engineered and built buggy with the best reliability in the business. Remember all the competitionÂ’s products are copycats of the Honda Accord, for me, I want the original item. This Accord is my third and they keep improving every time. This model seems like it has unlimited technology that I need to have an engineering degree to learn it all; which is a good thing. The car stands out (Pearl White) and I receive compliments on how classy it looks. The gas mileage on my last 200 mile trip averaged 34 MPG.

A little bit more.. - 2006 Honda Accord
By Steve1 - June 19 - 9:53 amThe 06 is just a little bit more of everything. A bit more powerful, a bit more quiet, a bit more sophisticated, a bit more styled, etc. I traded an 03 and the 06 is just a bit more refined.
