Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

I love my Accord! - 2009 Honda Accord
By Nicole - June 25 - 10:56 amI love my new Accord, the seats are very comfortable, especially the back seats. There is plenty of leg room in the back seat as well. Its fun to drive and handles well. The only somewhat negative comment I have is that road noise is a little loud but nothing thats unbearable. The stereo is great, the Navigation system is awesome and it has a great ride. I am very happy with my purchase.

Beats the Camry SE or XLE Hands down - 2004 Honda Accord
By stap123 - June 25 - 10:00 amJust bought 2004 EX with side curtain airbags (N/A on the 2003 Accord EX with cloth seats) for $22,999 out the door with all fees included. We also looked at a Camry SE and XLE, Hyundai Sonata. The Camry was closest, the Sonata is just a different class. The extra real life 7-8mpg, the 60% after 5 years resale value of the Honda sealed the deal. If you are looking at a 2003, look carefully at an ‘04. You get a new model year for a small bump in price and for us, the side curtain airbags (plus regular side airbags) were key. Ride is smooth and a bit more connected to the road than Camry.

Beautiful Car - 2003 Honda Accord
By gwyson - June 25 - 10:00 amI work on the road all day. Had a Forester that had multiple mechanical problems and a very cheap interior. This car is SO much more comfortable and well built. Roomy but comfortable for a short person like me.

Comfortable Commuter Car - 2004 Honda Accord
By Mansfied Owner - June 25 - 6:16 amI bought this car used at 20K miles. I didnt bother getting the extended warranty and 25K miles later I have not needed it. his car provides a great balance between comfort, performance and economy. Only maint necessary before 101K miles is oil chg, tire rotation & brake pad replacement as needed. Dealership maint is affordable and has been a pleasant experience. I love the 7,500 mile interval between oil changes (only on the V6 though). The engine is smooth on acceleration and provides great hwy passing power. Avgs 22-24 mpg in mixed hwy & city driving. Overall, this is a great common sense car and is comparable to most entry level luxury cars.

honda accord EX sedan - 1992 Honda Accord
By ffchopin - June 25 - 2:00 amThe automatic transmission seems to be the biggest worry in this accord. When the accords, I owned three of them, get above 100K, the transmission shifts abruptly and sometimes there is slippage before it pops into gear, especially in the first two gears. The is also vibrations in the steering wheel when car is stopped, but in gear.

Good experience with my first Honda. - 1992 Honda Accord
By RedGeminiPA - June 25 - 2:00 amI was looking for a reliable, fun-to- drive, inexpensive car that would still give me some luxary. Ive had many expensive brand cars (BMW, Cadillac, Aurora, Lincoln) that had me spoiled by comfort and convenience features, but lacked something thats very important right now -- ECONOMY. I just purchased this car on 6-19-03 from a local used car dealer. My Accord has 149,000 miles that were driven by the original owners. For the age and miles, Id have to say this is probably the best car Ive had overall. Its comfortable, fun to drive and gets excellent gas mileage. Why is this my first Accord???

Fun car - 1995 Honda Accord
By Josh Carter - June 24 - 2:00 amI have put about 70000 of the hardest miles any car will ever see on this Accord. The engine blew last winter because somehow a Marti-Gras bead was lodged in an intake valve...Who knows how... Other than that, nothing has ever broke. I did have a major issue getting the brakes replaced last year. Sway bars improve handling incredibly. Very sporty feel, and fun and easy to customize.

1994 ACCORD EX, Bigger Bang For The Buck - 1994 Honda Accord
By charles jr - June 24 - 2:00 amI bought this car used with about 100 thousand miles on it. I do quite a bit of driving and over the last year I have put 30 thousand miles on the car and have had no major repair costs. This car is great on fuel and obviously very reliable. If you plan on getting a used car more than 5 years old with high mileage, then there is no safer bet than an accord.

Hideous Wheels - 2017 Honda Accord
By TAR - June 24 - 12:08 amI have owned 3 Accord Sedans, all EXL, both 4 and 6 cylinders. Think the car itself is the best on the road. I would have purchased a new one last week except for the only available wheel on every car on every lot ... talking the EXL4. Hideous wheels, cheap looking, not the least bit refined or classy, why belies the rest of the car. I would never buy a car with those wheels. Brain dead on the part of Honda.
