Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Shows Hondas Quality - 1992 Honda Accord

When I purchased this car I was a Honda driver having had a 1984 Accord Hatchback. This car is still running great and looks great, Ive only had to do general maintenance over the years. To date it has 218,500 miles on it and still going, Ive been waiting for the right time to upgrade to a new one and this may be the year. I must add there are many Accords of this same year all over my city in great condition and still going. For these reasons and Hondas styling, build, reputation Ill be buying another Honda in the near future. If you are considering a car to buy you must check out the Accord, its been a wonderful car for me these past 11 years.

  • Honda reliability on its way down - 1998 Honda Accord

Hondas are supposed to be reliable but my Transmission got messed up somewhere in the 50K - Lucky I bought Extended Warranty. Engine runs smoothly but lacks power for a V6 (I guess im comparing it to my previous Nissan Maxima which was awesome until i sold it off at 186K). Interior is quite convenient and comfortable but im beginning to hear squeaky noises. External sounds are minimal though. Car looks decent - better than the bland Camry but not like the Passat. If I was 40 Id probably like this car but not at 25.

  • Great Car - 2009 Honda Accord

I have had this car for almost a year and it is fantastic. The brakes are very strong, the pickup is fast (definitely no need to buy the v6), the interior is nice, the leather is awesome, the sound system rocks, have had no mechanical problems...it is a great car. As many have pointed out, the engine is a little loud and so is the road noise. The fuel economy is about as expected, around 25. I would recommend it to anyone.

  • Honda Home Run! - 2007 Honda Accord

Just drove home the 2007 Accord V6 and it is fantastic. The V6 is better than my I30 V6 and nearly as good as the G35. This is my 3rd Accord, had a 93 and 96 before I lost my mind and bought the 01 I30 which was a great value but current G35 and M are overpriced so I went back to Honda. Looked at TSX several times and again not as good as the Accord V6. And did I mention the year end deals...3K below cost...Thanks Honda!

  • Do not believe what you read - 1999 Honda Accord

In short this car has been completly rebuilt (V-Tec system, ABS system, brakes 2X, power sun roof motor, fan motor, leaks in the trunk) by honda and they have simply been the worse company to deal with. The transmission is now gone, but they refuse to warranty it. I have written letters to Honda with no response. All I can say is NEVER AGAIN. I have owned 7 Hondas and 3 Acuras. I will not make this mistake again.

  • I love this car - 2008 Honda Accord

I love my Honda. This is my first Honda and I must say I am very impressed. I only drive it on the weekends so I have no gripes over fuel economy. It feels great to get into my Honda after driving my 01 Pontiac Sunfire. It handles well and it is smooth sailing. The heated seats for me and my passenger are a plus for the cold weather.

  • Best Auto Buy - 2000 Honda Accord

It drives wonderful and beautiful plain contemporary inside. Outside design is clean and sleek. Outside may look plain, but I know that Id rather have a Honda than any other car for its safety and reliability.

  • The Ultimate Driving Machine - 2003 Honda Accord

Get this car if you enjoy long smooth drives full of power, tight turns, and awesome handling. The interior is gorgeous, the stereo rocks, and the engine will roll. Great car!

  • My Third Accord - 2003 Honda Accord

Reliable and priced fairly, is the best way to describe the Honda Accord. The 2003 seems to be best yet. For the price its hard to beat, you can pay a lot more and get less of a car.
