Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

First Honda - wont be last - 2015 Honda Accord
By James Ziebert - August 22 - 2:55 amI have always been a GM (Pontiac) car guy. My last 3 vehicles were Grand Prix. Then GM in their wisdom decided to discontinue the Pontiac line. I didnt know what I was going to replace my GP with when it came time to buy a new (used) car. Then my wife stumbled upon an ad for a 2015 Honda Accord with only 2600 miles. We were sure it was a misprint but went to check it out. Sure enough ... a 2 yr old car with only 2600 miles. Several family members have had Hondas without any problems EVER... seemed like it was the thing to do. This car has more bells and whistles on it than I know what to do with. It rides and handles like a sports car. Hugs the turns / road... the mileage is AMAZING (so far in the city Im getting 31mpg). I have to say - I dont miss my GP at all and GM has lost me as a customer for life. Another plus is Hondas are built in my home state (and most of the American mfr are now importing their parts from Mexico, Canada and across the ocean). This car is a win / win for me. By the way - I listed maintenance cost as only "ok" but thats only because I havent had to do any maintenance on it yet. My son (auto technician) assures me - it wont be much.

Runs like a clock - 1993 Honda Accord
By simmons195 - August 22 - 2:00 amThis has been the greatest car that I have ever owned! I have owned it for 3.5 years and I have never had to change the breaks (I down shift). It has never left me sit. The only two problems I have had are the power antenna mast, and the drivers side power window gets stuck sometimes. Thats all! No mechanical problems at all. I had to replace the exaust from the cat back, but that will happen with any car. But Its treated me very well.

Worthy to buy! - 1996 Honda Accord
By a7edmundyoung - August 21 - 2:00 amI bought this car for one year already, I never go to auto repairs since I bought this car unless oil changes. This car runs great even its 85000 mileages, I believe its a reliable type of car, and doesnt cause you much time and money on the maintainances. Think about it.

Comfortable and reasonably powered - 1995 Honda Accord
By Sums - August 21 - 12:36 amWe bought our 95 Accord EX-V6 used, and now have ~90k miles on it. The only repairs outside of standard mainenance were a $60 part ignition coil and minor A/C repair--which were both foreshadowed. All in all, a very comfortable car that handles pretty well and is well powered.

Toyota Convert - 2003 Honda Accord
By Stickershox - August 18 - 10:00 amCamry or Accord? I test drove both and what sold me was the Accords interior. Simply gorgeous! More upscale than Camry. I love the 4 cylinder automatic as it is one of the smoothest 4s Ive ever driven. If you buy EX like I did, splurge the extra $1200-1400 for the leather seats; you also get dual- climate temp system and heated seats with that package. The 6 disc cd is great and its in the dash. For those who dont like the rear-end styling, the chop-off look is growing on me. The ride is a bit stiff for city driving. I also dont like the brake feel at this point; it should get better once I have this baby over 1000k I hope.

EX Accord w/ Leather and Navi - 2003 Honda Accord
By warriorbysea - August 18 - 2:00 amI bought this car two weeks ago and it is the most comfortable car that I have ever been in. All of the controls are easily accessible on the steering wheel and the Navigation system is unsurpassed! I wasnt sure if I wanted the V-6 or the 4 cyl. but after driving both I was convinced that the 4 cyl. was the best Id ever driven. The pick up is surprisingly good and the V-6 gas mileage wasnt worth the trade off. I have only put 1200 miles on it so far and I already get 400+ miles on one tank of gas. Love this car...got it at an amazing price...would recommend it and the dealership I went to to anyone!

It is wonderful on gas, very fun to drive, has a beautiful exterior body, and is a smooth ride (comes in handy since i live in DC). So far,i have no complaints and hope to never have any either. So Honda, keep up the good work...you definately live up to your name in the reliable Accord.
