Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

To many times in the shop - 1997 Honda Accord
By Troy - November 2 - 5:40 pmThis accord is the worst car i have ever owned it left me stranded to many times. I strongly advise you not to buy one of these cars especially 1994-1997 go for 1998 or newer. Gas mileage is poor im only getting 16 miles to the gallon and if im lucky 18 mpg. If youre looking to save gas look elsewhere you wont find it in this accord. Acceleration is the worst especially for the engine size im very disappointed its extremely underpowered even without the A/C. The air conditioning system is terrible and weak it does not cool the car down honda could have designed it better. I also have noticed it tends to shut of by itself even when im driving which is a real pain. The only positives is it has a decent look and interior and is cheap to fill up but thats it. Steer clear of the 97 accord

2007 Honda Accord SE - 2007 Honda Accord
By aeroboy - November 1 - 6:22 pmI bought the 2007 Accord SE in October 2007, I traded an Accord 2004 SE which had been rear ended and I traded because I did not want the newer 2008 model. I get 36-37 mpg on interstate whisch I think is fantastic for a car this comfortable. I replaced the rear rotors and calipers at about 50,000, they were frozen, other than hat nothing other than oil changes. i replace dthe battery in year 7. The aluminum wheels on mine have oxidized near the hub on each wheel, they look bad, I see the same problem on other Accords and not on others of similar vintage. I recently had a couple small dents removed on the hood and the shop buffed out the paint all around, the car looks new with 85,000 miles. I have 2 people waiting to buy it when I am ready to sell. I have had 2 Accord EX before this and this SE is my favorite Accord. It could be quieter, the wheels are the only thing that detracts from it, I may replace the wheels when I get new tires again.

A superb quality car - 2009 Honda Accord
By Scott - October 31 - 1:27 pmMy wife absolutely loves her Accord. Its our first Honda car (although weve owned Honda powersports equipment) and we couldnt be more pleased. Purchased at 35,000 miles on the clock and 41,000 miles later, all weve done are oil changes, a new battery, new tires and brakes. The only issue that we were somewhat disappointed in was having to replace the rear brakes at 50,000...and it just wasnt the pads. We had to replace calipers, rotors AND pads. But, some of that could be attributed to the cold, snowy climate that we live in (Northern NY). Other than that, the car has been a joy to own. Surprisingly decent power is supplied by the 2.4L 190 HP 4 cylinder engine and the 5-speed manual transmission. The 5-speed shifts smoothly and is a blast to run through the gears. Inside, the car is very comfortable and the 8-way power seats are wonderful. Its very good in snow IF you run snow tires on it, especially with the 5-speed and front wheel drive. Great sound system with the multi-CD changer & 6 speaker setup. Air conditioning works great as well---you have to wear a jacket if you have it on. The Accord is a very high-quality vehicle, and we would recommend it to anyone. My wife will be back for another one...if I can ever get her to part with this one.

Just what I needed - 2015 Honda Accord
By Ken - October 29 - 6:49 amOK, I really really really wanted a Nissan 370z. Its been my dream car for such a long time. But I realized that I just needed more room on rare occasions. I also needed to buy an automatic this time because my wife cant drive a manual. Driving the Z automatic was a bitter disappointment, that cvt on the z was just terrible. I also didnt like the idea of premium fuel again. Enter the Honda Accord Coupe. That amazing Honda reliability, a very peppy V6 that doesnt need premium fuel but still gets nearly 300 hp, and a bit of a sporty look. I bought the White Accord and the 2 tone leather seats are just beautiful. Most of my commute is on the highway and I regularly get between 31 to 37 mpg. You read that right, on occasions ive reached 37 mpg. Add to that a nice quiet, comfortable ride and its all pretty much perfect for me. I was a bit disappointed with Hondas top of the line stereo in the EXL, but after tuning in the frequency controls a bit, I am much happier. And I am pretty sure that CDs sound much better through the stereo than using Bluetooth or USB. Was also disappointed to learn that Honda is still using a timing belt for the V6, but that huge bill wont be for many years.

Great and not so great. - 2015 Honda Accord
By Hector Mercado - October 25 - 3:26 pmIm a 27 year old man with a large upper body (a little over weight) and I drove an 09 4 door civic till this year when I decided it was time for an upgrade, or so I thought. Like most civic owners, buying an accord v6 feels like your entering the big leagues of Honda, and I was so happy when I got a slammin deal for my 2015 V6 accord. Fast forward 3 weeks later and I notice Im starting to get back aches in my lower back. At first I ignored it and blocked out any idea that it was the car, but I came to the realization it is my new car. The leather seats have 0 give. Theyre way to firm, and it feels like your sitting on hard wood. No matter what adjustments you make to the seat, including the so called lumbar support which honestly feels like someone is pushing you forward, roughly, and not supportive like, your back will be telling you it hurts eventually. I have read many reviews about the accord seats after I started getting back pains and Im not the only one with this issue. On top of the horrible back support and lumbar support, the seat feels like it was designed for primarily "small" people. My upper back has no support since the "bucket" style seats have side cushions that feel like theyre pushing my arms and sides forward, not allowing me to actually relax my back whilst diving. The entire car outside the drivers seat is beyond my expectations, considering Honda is not a luxury brand, but how can I enjoy my fabulous monster of a car when I cant sit in it comfortably? Ill be switching to Acura when my lease is up.

BEST car Ive ever owned - 2004 Honda Accord
By abel - October 21 - 10:18 amI have driven them all. From mustangs to chryslers, chargers, rams, cherokees, etc...all v8s. I never knew of the 4 cylinder life and this honda made me realize how much money I was spending on gas! It runs great! I purchased it with 172k miles and it has no problems whatsoever now at its 200k miles and is pretty quick for a 2.4 engine. Love the woodgrain trim all around. My only complaint would be the vibration on stop lights. Other than that Im very pleased with this honda accord.

Honda Accord saved my life - 2015 Honda Accord
By Robert Rosenberg - October 18 - 10:05 amA few days ago my Honda was involved in a multiple car accident. The car looked like crumbled up tin foil. Aside from a few bruises on my clavicle and chest, I walked away from the accident. The car was hit by two trucks. Well I went immediately to my Honda dealer and bought another Accord.
