Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Fun to drive, but a little noisy - 2001 Honda Accord
By dglanz - September 11 - 10:00 amI leased this car last May and currently have right under 10K miles on it. Overall, it is a nice car. The paint looks nice and the interior is finished perfectly. It hasnt had any warranty service on it and is absolutely reliable. Over the last month, it has developed a rattle in the drivers door that is pretty annoying and there is much more road noise than I was expecting from a car that costs over $25K. Maybe it is the tires, but Ill never find out since these tires will be on it throughout my three year lease and I plan to turn it in.

Excellent all-around car! - 1994 Honda Accord
By HappyHondaOwner - September 11 - 10:00 amThis car has been extremely reliable and very low cost to maintain. The air conditioning has been the only repair of any significance and that is to be expected on an 8-year old car. Always starts and runs smoothly. Handles like a sports car yet will carry a family. I looked into a Ford Taurus at the time and decided to buy the Honda. Boy, am I glad I did. The Taurus was like driving a boat!

By mom - September 11 - 8:53 amTired of driving Ford minivan to commute everyday. Pleasure to drive. Love the moonroof!14 year old daughter thought it was a "sexy" car for her mom. The red color is great! Love the smooth ride and volume controls on the steering wheel.

Great car making for a GREAT BUY ! - 2017 Honda Accord
By James Fisher Sr - September 10 - 6:36 pmFinest driving automobile, I have ever driving. Comfortable for a short fat old man and sits that hugs you like a pretty woman. Leased to replace a 2012 Accord Ex-L Totaled out from hitting a cement wall head on @ 70 MPH with no injuries. Insurance paid the whole note and some extra $16,000.00 + . Didnt even come close to needing GAP insurance. Residual value after 57 months with 48015 miles 62%. If my 2017 Accord does that good I just made ONE HELL OF A DEAL!

Mans best friend - 1996 Honda Accord
By stillwatercove - September 10 - 2:00 amNOT SEXY, but oh soooo dependable, functional, and comfortable to drive. The wagon has so much room. Easyily convertable to put 2 bikes in the back without removing wheels. Quiet on the highway and nimble in the city.

Love everything but the A/C - 1994 Honda Accord
By csmith6281 - September 9 - 2:00 amPurchased new and passed on to my daughter in 2000 still going strong. Smooth, easy shifting 5-spd trans makes it fun to drive. Great acceleration for a 4-cyl. Interior room and trunk space great, comfortable for 4 adults, acceptable for 5. But the A/C has never worked well, and has sucked up a lot of money.

LX 4Dr / 5Spd - 1992 Honda Accord
By csmith6281 - September 9 - 2:00 amPurchased new, passed along to my daughter in 1998, still going strong. Smooth, easy shifting clutch/trans provides excellent performance for a 4- cyl. Excellent car in New England winters - never stuck in the snow. Only components that didnt have long life were radio speakers and A/C. Comfortable for 4 adults, acceptable for 5.

the best so far - 2006 Honda Accord
By fjp - September 8 - 10:16 pmThis my fourth Accord going back to 1987. The 2006 is fun to drive, gets excellent gas mileage and comfortable. I looked at the Mercedes 230 and BMW 300 series and they can not compare with the Hondas overall value and quality.
