Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • What a car.. - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

Recently purchases this 2003, what a difference from my 1993 4cyl Accord. Saved lots of money ($6k) by buying this car vs. Maxima. Same car little less hp drives like a BMW. European styling wouldnt ever think Japan built this car if you did not know cars..

  • Noisy, weak initially - 1996 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought this car last month from a private owner. When started, the car makes a lot of noise (is it normal??) Runs quitely till you reach about 60mph. Drags initially but after about 30mph, runs very smoothly. High road/ wind noise. Excellent braking & manueverability at high speed. Leather seats are firm but doesnot provide a good lumbar support. Too early to comment about reliabilty. Overall, great peace of mind.

  • A Keeper for sure - 1999 Honda Accord
    By -

It can cruise around town windows down, sunroof open, music blaring, and everyone looks, or you can fly past whoever on the highway with ease. It has Luxury, style, class, reliability, and power. What else can you ask for?

  • Well Balanced - 2009 Honda Accord
    By -

Balanced between sufficient power (190hp) and fuel economy, between cabin space and sportiness, and excellent suspension tuning. The torque may seem delayed, but the power is there when the Vtech kicks in. The engine noise is noticeable, but it sounds nice. Its not straining to move the car. Its a lot of car for the money. Maybe not the best at anything, but really good at everything. Its a big car, make no mistake about it. Coming out of a Civic its huge. But I wanted a big car. Maybe not "fun" to drive, but very easy to drive.

  • erns opinion? - 2006 Honda Accord

Great car. Three days after purchase drove from tn to lower texas and all over tx. Very comfortable and averaged 27.5 mpg. Fun to drive and got accolades from many people.

  • Do not buy this junk - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

Bought it 4 months ago and quickly discovered that I bought a piece of JUNK. Leather seats are the only thing of good quality. Any other thing is just JUNK. I think Honda is using recycled plastics for the dash. I completely disagree with experts saying that the new Honda Accords interior is of good quality. What good quality they are talking about. Everything inside the car rattles on very fine bumps and normal roughness on the roads. This gets me mad. What a poor quality. The car has wheel imbalance, which the dealer has never been able to fix! Can you believe it? Honda cannot get a balanced car out of their factory? The suspension is very poor. The body is very loose.

  • Where is the Honda reliability? - 1991 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought this car in 1-03 for a commuter car. It had 102k when it was purchased. The very next week the radiator was replaced. The following month it started idling poorly, and a gouged cylinder was diagnosed. The engine now needs replaced. The A/C now doesnt work, and the transmission is starting to have problems of its own. There is a water leak in the trunk somewhere, who knows where. I have had 3 used Oldsmobiles in the past all with less problems combined than this one vehicle. Either my bad luck is overwhelming, or Hondas are not all theyre cracked up to be.

  • Gas Hog! - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

This is our 2nd Honda Accord. We traded in a BMW 325i as it was rear wheel drive and not a good car to drive in the snow. Previously we owned a 98 V6 Accord, it was a great car and so we figured that we couldnt go wrong with the new accord, we loved the body style. The car is fabulous, except for one thing, it is a GAS HOG! For a 4 cylinder honda engine we expected to get better than 23 mpg, especially since my wife drives about 90% freeway miles at 65. The sticker said to expect up to 31, boy was that a lie! Our 6 cylinder BMW averaged 26 mpg on the same drive!

  • OK Car - 1999 Honda Accord

I bought this car used with 20k miles. it now has 95k miles and I am still happy with the car. Outside of normal maintenance and replacement of normal wear and tear items, things have been ok.

  • 2016 Honda Accord Coupe - 2016 Honda Accord
    By -

Previously had the same model - 2008 - had 120k miles and ran like a top! Decided to get a new model and Honda had some incentives. Basically the same car - but the electronics are really a step forward (learning curve involved!)
