Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

I am very pleased with my Accord, Nothing but the best in workmanship and quality. The four banger (2006) is amazingly fast, hard to believe it is a four cylinder; very quick acceleration. This is my second accord traded 2001 vp,the best decision so far. The standard features are great!!! DRLs (Daytime Running Lamps), LED brake Lamps, Heated seats and mirrors, 8 air bags, 4 disc brakes, 6-CD changer stereo,Alarm, Best crash test results in class, and most of all best quality, reliability, and luxury for a honda. First day took a 500 mile trip (Round Trip) and it drove great...Test drove both cars 4- cyclinder and V6, both were great decided on the four because of the quick acceleration.Get 1

I bought this car to replace my 2002 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4.I was looking for a vehicle which was more economical but still comfortable to drive for a tall person (64"), and fun to drive. After extensive research my final choices were, the 06 Buick LaCross,06 Toyota Camry,06Nissan Altima 2.5, 06 Chevy Impala and the 06Honda Accord. I chose the Accord. This car is, in my opinion, the best overall. Its very comfortable, safe, quiet, looks beautiful from all angles, performs like a sports car but has the comfort of a luxury car, and to top it off, it is excellent on gas!! The build quality is superb, has very stylish body lines, and the six speaker sound system sounds awesome! Very Nice!

  • Seats Are Fine! - 2009 Honda Accord

This is my 6th Honda that Ive purchased new and so far this is my favorite car. I purchased the Accord EX to replace a lease return Acura RSX Type-S. The build quality is excellent and the mileage is exactly what was advertised. I was a little concerned about the seat comfort based on some of the reviews left on Edmunds.com. I can honestly say the seats are far more comfortable than any of my previous Hondas (2 Accords, 2 Civics and a CRX) and also more comfortable than my Acura RSX.

  • Excessive wind noise at drivers window - 2013 Honda Accord
    By -

New 2013 Accord seems well built. Had two issues from day one. Cloth on seats are not pulled tight. The big issue is the wind noise coming from the drivers side window at high speeds. The dealer has tried to fix twice with no success. The Honda America rep (who was the rudest, most condescending person I have ever met) said he did not hear the noise. I read tons of other people on Accord web-site with same issue. Honda has yet to rectify problem. Dealer drove another Accord off the lot to see if that car had the same problem and sure enough it did. I would not but this car unless you can test drive on a highway to check the wind noise.

  • Accord Coupe - 1999 Honda Accord

Its been a great car to have, it rides smooth and feels very well built. Its a great car for the younger crown like myself, there are tons of ways to customize the car any way you want. I threw on a set of 17 inch wheels with low profile tires and it makes it look even more aggressive. overall its been a great car to own, easy maintenance, nice quality, and great style makes this car a winner.

  • All the combinations - 2003 Honda Accord

This car seems to me to be a lot of things to a lot of people...for me its the performance that made my decision. Cruising down the highway at 80 mph with a quiet ride and only at 2200 RPM is awesome. This car will last a long time and handle whatever I throw at it. The fun score would have been a 10 if the tires were better for cornering. I almost spent about $10k more for an Infiniti but the Accord comes with so many luxury features in the base price I had to get one.

  • An Honest Review - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

Have driven all the competitors to the accord. It came down to the Accord or Accura TL. The only difference between the 2 was price and ride. The Acura had a softer ride but not worth the extra $4,000. The Accord does ride a little stiffer but on the expressways it flys. Accord EX had all the same amenities (leather, CD changer, climate control, sunroof, etc.) Gas mileage? All I can say is they must have a leak. My gas mileage has been excellent for a 6 cy. Been on 2 trips and got 31-32 MPG. Around town has been 27-28. Added a spoiler to improve the rear end, although I havent disliked it as much as some. Much better value than Camry.

  • Great Car for the Money - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

We were deciding between the Camry and the Accord for this car purchase. The Accord is by far a much better value for the money (in terms of features). The radio is great, but theres no option to upgrade the speakers. The Navi is easily comparable to that of any luxury automobile, my friends Navi in his E-class is almost identical to this one. The dash is beatifully illuminated, and it stays this way even if the headlights are not on. This car is loaded with great features and options, for a fairly low price (got it for $24K), and I would definitely recommend it. However, if the ride quality is your 1st priority - go with the Camry instead.
