Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Well worth the price - 2001 Honda Accord
By bizemoma - February 1 - 8:24 pmWe bought our 2001 Accord with 19K on it. We have owned it for 10 years now. All we have done is the major services, oil changes, breaks and tires. It now has 93K on it and we fully expect it to go at least another 100K. We love this car. The only issue is in the fan for the heater there is a little rattle now but that is it.

2010 Accord - 2010 Honda Accord
By burguy - January 30 - 5:36 pmBought new & have owned a little over two years now. Sixth Accord we have owned since 1989. The car is all Honda, except for the road noise. We have had the car back to the dealer multiple times and they finally said the V6 is just noisy. "after all, its not a Lexus" We were told that "this is a common complaint and the 4 cyl. is much quiter". I think it will be a great car mechanically, but we are trading it in at 30 months and about 30,000 miles. Move over Honda, we are going to look at the 13 Camry & maybe the ES350.

2011 Honda Accord EX-L 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 5A) - 2011 Honda Accord
By beachgirl100 - January 18 - 1:34 pmI am still debating if I like this car! I had a SUV for 12 years and downsized for fuel economy. The seats are very uncomfortable and the road noise is HORRIBLE. You CANNOT hear someone in the backseat talking to you on interstate without them almost yelling at you. If I had to do it all again, I would not choose this car based on the interior noise and very uncomfortable seat. I have read reviews and saw that others have complaints about the seats as well so I guess nothing can or will be done to correct my car (problem). Definitley take for a test drive on interstate if possible..

A great value - 2011 Honda Accord
By gccmb5 - January 5 - 9:27 pmThis is my fifth Accord, and they continue to improve and refine them with each new model. Very well put together. I have had mine for about eight months and have almost 10K miles on it. Everything is still as it was when new. No squeaks, rattles, or issues of any kind. Great ride, great feel and handling. Tire noise is a little loud, but once I wear out the Dunlops Ill put on something quiter. Im 64", so the seats could be a little larger, but there is plenty of head room and I have no problems driving for six hours at a stretch. The 4cyl is peppy around town, but it is by no means fast, I would describe it as adequate. I have need averaging just over 30mpg in mixed driving.

Love this car - 2009 Honda Accord
By metakizerman - January 2 - 11:20 pmLove my accord. some people that leave reviews have no idea what they are talking about. They complain about the seat not comfy, well if you weigh 300+ lbs then no seat is comfy. I am 170 and the seats hug me sooo nice. I feel like Im in sports car. This thing is safe, reliable, family and fun to drive.

read the long term reliability reviews!! - 2012 Honda Accord
By kyrider - January 2 - 4:10 pmDont make the same mistake I did and read the long term reliability consumer reports. The car is GREAT for the first few months (2-3k) and then problems start... I can only speak for my dealer (Sam Swope Honda World) which treated me like I was crazy for reporting a shimmy wheel issue and they werent able to resolve the problem but if you read the Edmunds online forums youll see many similar issues with Accords. I wish Id read all these before deciding to purchase this car.

Delighted Honda Owner! - 2007 Honda Accord
By luckyresorts - December 30 - 7:32 pmI bought this dream machine 2 days ago and am in love with it! The VP has a numerous amount of features. I paid $15K with only 15,000 super low miles! Driving this car is like being on a cloud. The handling is very good, no road noise, which some owners said is common in this year Accord. When I drove it the first night on my way home, the suspension seemed a bit firm and rough, then a day or so later felt much more soft and comfortable. Im disappointed the car has no VP logo on the trunk. Very strange. Plenty of power and very smooth shifting. The ride is so quiet, its unbelievable. Im so happy with my car and recommended it to anyone looking to find forever reliability!!!

Honda, never again - 2009 Honda Accord
By whiskeysausage - December 28 - 1:46 amIve owned 4 Hondas in my life, and as the saying goes, they just dont build them like they used to. 94 Accord, 98 Civic, a 00 Accord, and now a 2009 Accord. I bought the 09 Accord because I wanted a new Honda (all my others had been 2nd/3rd owner cars) But, simply put, this 2009 is a disaster - from the sub par brakes, the sub par interior, the sub par dash, to the squeaky fan noise that everyone can hear except the Honda Dealership - all before 20,000miles. Its like they fired all of their good engineers and hired the interns. Simply put, DO NOT BUY a HONDA. You will regret it.

UGH u DAMN TRANS - 2001 Honda Accord
By peteytemple - December 23 - 10:00 amI bought a 2001 Accord and noticed some slipping within the first week from the Trans. Brought it back and they replaced it. Start driving down the road and realize the Shifting in the car is worse than it was b4. Brought it back and now they are fixing it again. Honestly after reading all the reviews about how this car has major transmission problems, I may just return the car. Something in my gut tells me to return it now b4 the 30 days is up and then to get screwed.
