Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Honda did a great job on this car! - 2004 Honda Accord

I have now owned the car for a week and have put almost 800 miles on it. The only problem I had is a slight vibration from one of the rear speakers when I play loud, bassy music, but imagine the dealership will cover that under warranty. This car is much sprotier and faster than I imagined it would be. Handles the corners like a much sportier car and can be driven for hours without any driver fatigue. You can see, hear and feel the excellent engineering that went into this car. i would recommend it to anybody.

  • Nice transportation.. point A to point B - 2000 Honda Accord
    By -

Overall it is a good car and I like it. It works fine for what I use it... transfer me from A to B an back. Has a good power but thats not enough to call it FUN TO DRIVE. For reliability, so far I had only one problem, had to EGR Valve recently ($250). But its a used car.. :) Just one more time proves that its ALIVE.

  • 3rd Honda, no regrets - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

I have owned a LX, EX and now an EXV6, which has been worth every penny. The traction control has been the most satisfying improvement, which in tandem with the seamless 5spd automatic tames the V6 in snowy weather. Overall the car is a dream to drive, plenty of power, excellent sound system, quiet and an Accord with heated seats has been great. Even the leather quality is better than previous models.

  • Its A Very O.K. Car - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

Overall - I am quite pleased with only a few minor complaints. Love the power, handling, climate control. Totally annoyed with the rattle that cant be fixed (its rattled from day one!) and the hard shift from first to second (automatic) first thing in the morning. The interior is simply beautiful!

  • Newbie - 2005 Honda Accord

Was offered below MSRP price which brought it in range with the loaded Accord non-hybrid version. With tax break it will end up about the same as a regular Accord. Didnt want the nav package as I dont like dedicated PC like hardware in a car. It becomes obsolete too fast. It is very comfortable to drive for both city and highway Nice power when you want it. So far my gas mileage for the highway has been around 27 mpg highway. My lead foot is probably the issue. Because of the deal I got I cant complain. Gonna get a real spare though!

  • started consume oil after 64K miles - 2010 Honda Accord

2010 Honda Accord EX-L started consume oil after 64K miles and engine started make weird sounds. Honda Dealer said its ok, you can drive it! Never will buy Honda again!

  • Cant go wrong with this car - 2005 Honda Accord
    By -

The car is an excellent choice for a modern, well appointed sedan. The styling is OK and it grows on you in time. The interior is the best quality of the car. The performance is more than adequate with the 5 speed auto trans. The included features make one wonder "why would I buy a BMW". Reliability will have to be determined however there are no initial problems after two months of operation. Fuel mileage is high twenties with the daily commute of mostly highway driving. One concern is engine clatter for the first couple of miles when the engine is cold, which the Dealer states is normal.

  • Overall a Great Car - 1999 Honda Accord
    By -

I couldnt ask for more. Fairly inexpensive, roomy, dependable and a fantasticly well designed 4 cyl engine. It can haul five people comfortably, reach highway speeds with ease (great for merging) and cruise at 90 mph (with yet more available power) all day long. Its been a pleasure to own as it just plain WORKS as a car should and not cost a fortune. 102K,1 set of tires, front brake pads...nothing else...SWEET!

  • It was a lemon only a mother could love - 1990 Honda Accord
    By -

This car was a nightmare for the first 9 years - back to the dealer for multiple problems under warranty, 5 batteries in 6 years, stuck around 100 times times in 100 degree heat with a car that would not start. But other than that, it was a charm to drive. Was overcharged on repairs several times. Once I left the closest Honda dealer and found an independent or drove across town to the other dealer, the problems were solved and it has run flawlessly ever since. Sears battery is 7 years old and still going strong. Does need need motor mounts. Im hoping to put another 100,000 miles on it. Makes a great second car.
