Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Still a top choice - 2002 Honda Accord
By flyersfan - October 24 - 10:00 amI have close to 80k miles on this car and it hasnt shown any sign of age. With the 5-speed,4cyl, I average around 33-35 mpg and have several times bumped 600 miles on a tank of gas. This car is super-roomy and drives well with a full load. Consumer Reports honestly believes that the LX-V6 is a better choice than the EX-4cyl. I couldnt disagree more. Why give up a keyless remote, moonroof, alloy wheels and two extra speakers just for a little extra zip and a little worse gas mileage?

Forever yours! - 1994 Honda Accord
By Willem Gerrit - October 23 - 2:00 amThis car is definitely one of the most reliable cars a person can own. There are plenty of features available and the styling is still considered modern and timeless. The V-Tec engine gives it plenty of power, the road noise is limited, and the interior comfort is superior. Once you own this car, you will drive it forever!

Good car need good maintenance - 1995 Honda Accord
By jason-jin - October 22 - 2:00 amI bought Honda Accord EX this month. My friend checked the car and found that the engine is good. But there is too much rust inside of the car. I need to replace all the brake lines. At the same time, we tried to replace the gas filter. This one should be replaced every year. This car still uses the original one. The bad thing is that the gas filter was designed poorly. There is no space for us to touch it. We use two hours to replace it. Second, I found the person has changed the air intaker to increase the power. He has no idea of air intaker. I have to replace the original one.

My 2008 Accord - 2008 Honda Accord
By barney - October 21 - 6:36 amAfter few years of driving a Chrysler 300 I found the car of my dreams. Having dealt with Honda for years on a supplier basis, I have found that quality does mean a lot to Honda. This is a sweet car with all the comforts of home expect a refrig with a cold beer!

Poison Ivy - 2008 Honda Accord
By Last Accord - October 20 - 2:23 amFirst Honda, probably my last. Replaced 2005 Camry that was totaled in a rear-end collision. Have owned the Accord LX since November 07. 1400 miles. Over 60. Three months and I still cant get comfortable in the LX. In my opinion: hard seats, hard ride, more road noise than expected, disappointing gas mileage. For test drive(s), I wish I had removed the hard plastic from the drivers seat; tried harder to get comfortable in the non-electric seat; spent more time on rough roads. I did several back to back test drives with Accord/Camry. I admit I was caught up (a bit) in the new styling of the Accord... but I do miss the more comfortable ride of my 05 & 96 Camrys.

Ok, did nickle & dime us a bit - 1993 Honda Accord
By Mike823 - October 20 - 2:00 amGot this 5spd from my wife when she went mini-van for the kids. I sold my auto trans 1992 Accord. This one has been a good car, except for two major repairs. We had to do the AC 2 seasons ago for a few thousand, brakes once, and a new radiator (blew out on me and almost left me stranded). Other than that, pretty reliable and durable car. At 122K still on original timing belt!

Why does the paint peel off? - 1991 Honda Accord
By MichelleT - October 20 - 2:00 amI dont understand why Honda does not recall cars from this year - every one I see on the road has the paint half peeled off. It has become a running joke in my family also because each time we get in the car to go somewhere, another piece of the fabric decorating the various parts of the car falls off. What is that flapping sound? Oh, its just half of my door that is hanging out. Also the trunk leaks horribly. P.U.

Should have gotten the V6 - 2004 Honda Accord
By Frenchman - October 19 - 2:00 amI was disappointed in the pick-up from dead stop, the rev counter reached the red mark in first gear, the engine whines but the car wasnt moving. Guess I should have gotten the V6. Merging into highway traffic, however is a pleasure, as the car has no problem keeping up with other vehicles once it has the running start. The seats are very comfortable for long drives, all all controls are easily accessible.
