Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Some quick thoughts - 2006 Honda Accord
By Ritchie - November 10 - 1:16 amOverall, this is an awesome car, although I have to agree with the other reviews saying that the shifting is temperamental and probably not the best for the stick beginner (me). That aside, the styling inside and out is fantastic. The judicious use of carbon fiber panels on the interior is just right. I also like the voice activation responds well to my commands. The visibility from the drivers seat is also great because the hood slopes in such a way that its completely out of sight.

does your dash rattle too? - 2005 Honda Accord
By mollybegoode - November 9 - 10:30 pmI am/always have been a Honda die hard. This is my 7th honda purchase. No better car on the road. but Ive had one consistent gripe with the defrost system, inadequate. In the dead of winter you have to turn the a/c to get the windows to clear. I had read a review on the 2004 coupe models where someone complained of a dash rattle....well guess what? I have got a dash rattle.. you pay 25 thousand dollars for a car and the dash rattles??? sonds like the window isnt in tight or something is lose in the dash...unacceptible

Phenomenal Car -- Especially for the $$$ - 2003 Honda Accord
By ken - November 9 - 4:26 amThe 7th gen accord is by far the best bang for the buck. The fit and finish, performance, and ride quality are all top notch. I really cant think of anything negative about the car unless I really nitpick.

Good ol Honda - 1993 Honda Accord
By Jendawn - November 9 - 2:00 amI bought my Honda used 5 years ago and it still runs great! I have 133,000 miles on it and last year when I got it smogged, the guy said it smogged like a new car. Change that oil every 3,500 and this car will last forever. Just be careful that when you change the timing belt, have those little cheap oil pan seals replaced at the same time or youll be sorry. Great car.

Great Car - 2003 Honda Accord
By Golly Gwiz - November 7 - 10:00 amUpgraded to the 2003 Accord EX from my 2001 Civic LX. Have been a Honda fan for years, owned a 91 Accord that I put 240,000 miles on with no problems besides normal maintenance. Plan to do the same with this Accord. Dont know why some reviewers are complaining about cabin noise as mine is very quiet, no wind noise at all. Road feel is excellent and the 4 cyl. has more than enough power for normal driving. Drove a Camery and couldnt make the switch from Honda to Toyota, then checked out the Jetta, too euro. Accord is cant go wrong purchase.

This car is not reliable - 2003 Honda Accord
By kicmich - November 7 - 10:00 amI have had the 2003 accord for 7 months and have had to take it back to the dealer for 3 problems. I have had a transmission leak, throttle body assembly failure, and my drivers seat broke. I bought the car so I had something reliable to drive but it is horrible. The throttle body assembly failure makes the acceleration sticky and the car is very hard to drive. It has been this way for over a month waiting for parts. Honda service stinks.

So far so good! - 2003 Honda Accord
By ck2sb - November 7 - 10:00 amThis is my first Honda. Almost bought the G35 coupe but finally decided that its not worth the extra $10k(fully loaded). The only problem (probably same for all Honda) is that I live on a hill and this car will roll down hill if the gas pedal is not pressed, which makes it very hard to control when going from parking to drive. Otherwise, this is a perfect car for the money.

all around vehicle for 21st century - 2006 Honda Accord
By Jim Allen - November 6 - 1:16 pmI have owned several Maximas , which were good cars. But with the gasoline situation, the Honda is the car for these times. Excellent build quality, reliability, and mileage. It is flexible too. I carry my kayak on the folded down back seat in the trunk. Even with city driving in 3rd gear, I still dont go lower than 30 mpg. My wife got an Accord EX coupe at the same time. We are permanent Honda owners as long as they stay as good or better than this. The mileage on the 4cyl is nearly the same as on the hybrid.
