Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

This is my first Honda to own. Previously owned Toyota and Nissan. Will definetly look at a Honda on our next purchase. I am so happy with my decision.

  • "Sleeper" of the year. - 2004 Honda Accord

Best damn vehicle I have ever driven. Everything "works". A "Sports Sedan" in the tradition of the Jaguar 3.8 Sports Sedan. My wife got "T-Boned" a couple of weeks ago. The steel-reinforced door and side airbags worked perfectly. All she got out of it was a bruised lower left leg. The other car was "totaled". Effortless driving machine. I did 1450 miles in 24 hours non-stop from Melbourne, FL to Lansing, MI. Use premium and you pick up another ~10 hp. The 5-speed auto is mated perfectly to the VETC engine. The Formula One heritage is obvious. 30mpg cruising at 80mph. it is the most beautiful vehicle I have seen!

  • TEST DRIVE A HONDA AND YOULL BE SOLD - 2004 Honda Accord

I PURCHASED MY HONDA A YEAR AGO FROM THE HONDA DEALERSHIP IN SMITHTOWN. SUPRISINGLY THE HONDA NEVER REALLY CAUGHT MY EYE ON THE ROAD AND IT WAS MY EIGHTEEN YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WHO RECOMMENDED I TAKE A LOOK AT THEM. I TOOK IT FOR A TEST DRIVE AND WAS SOLD. I WAS PARTICULARLY IMPRESSED WITH THE WAY IT HOLDS THE ROAD - YOU SEEM TO JUST GLIDE THROUGH THE TURNS - EVEN IN THE WORST OF WEATHER. IVE NEVER HAD ONE PROBLEM OR COMPLAINT IN THE YEAR I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR AND I WOULD DEFINATELY PURCHASE ANOTHER. IN FACT ALL OF MY CARS WILL BE HONDAS FROM NOW ON.

  • Accords are the luxury cars of low price - 2005 Honda Accord
    By -

I am totally satisfied with my 2 accords. The accords are the best price and you seem to have a luxury car. They have both power and good looks. We love the leather and the roominess of the cars. I feel Honda is selling the car too low for how well they handle and look. What else can I say except we love our Hondas

  • Love My Honda Accord - 2002 Honda Accord

It looks good , head on, rear, and sideview. It feels good to drive. It is very responsive. Good CD player and radio and speakers. The control panel has a large speedometer, easy to read.

  • Not a day of trouble... - 1996 Honda Accord
    By -

My Accord has had no problems since the day I bought it! It now is approaching 125,000 miles, and never even had to replace brake pads, just tires at 65,000. The Honda benchmark has always been high, and this is one reason-this car!

  • Great for the Money - 2000 Honda Accord

I have owned my Honda for 2 years and have had no major problems. Had a bad computer which Honda replaced at no charge. Interior console seems cheaply made, but the rest is great. Great mileage (31-35mpg). Handles great. Very spacious for 4 adults. Seatbelts in the back seat tend to lock up often and frustrate the passengers. Have had problems with paint chipping, we have little knicks all over the car.

  • Not so good - 1999 Honda Accord
    By -

This car has horrible brakes. Third set of pads in 65,000 miles. Soft pedal. Mater cyclinder replaced twice. Still soft. Electrical system with lots of problems. Bought this car because of Honda reputation. This will be my last Honda.

  • Dependable, trouble-free transportation - 1997 Honda Accord
    By -

We bought this car used (17K miles) in a hurry when our disaster of a Taurus Wagon had a catastrophic engine problem. Our primary goal was to get a car that wouldnt require monthly visits to the mechanic and in this the Accord has been a rousing success. Other than power window problems (front windows becoming progressively slower as time goes on) the car has performed absolutely flawlessly. I use it for a long daily commute (100 miles/day) and it is very comfortable with decent gas mileage (23-25 MPG). While not exciting visually or performance-wise, it has lots of room and has been a great and extremely reliable car for our basic transportation needs.
