Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Car has been very dependable. No major problems. We have had 5 Hondas now and would certainly consider another. Cars look stylish for years and now that Honda has come out with custom wheels, you can personalize to your own style and personality.

  • Sacrificing performance for reliability - 1997 Honda Accord

As most Honda owners will agree, the Accord is about as close to "bulletproof" as it gets. Mine currently has a bit over 60,000 miles and all I have had to do is change out the original set of tires. What the car lacks in performance and styling, it clearly makes up in reliability and comfort.

  • Some problems here - 2002 Honda Accord

I have always driven Honda Accords. A new one every 3 years or so since 1978. Well, This 2001 is no Accord I ever knew. After 3 months, a tap-tap- tap noise under load. found it when a bolt came out from under the dash- hope nothing too important. excessive windnoise- rain on the door trim panels is awfully loud- thin metal everywhere. Going over warning ripples the entire car resonates for about 15 seconds. Honda has taken Monocoque (unitbody)Construction past its useful limits. Paint flaws visible after paint curing. Seems like they took the insight and put a bigger body on it- cheap and too light. My Last Honda- period.

  • Seamless and Reliable Honda Accord V-6! - 2008 Honda Accord

Previously sold on Hondas Reliability with a 94 Honda Accord EX 4 cylinder M tran with 33-36 mpg on the highway (synthetic Mobil 1 lubricant since 90K miles), the car had 188K miles before it was stolen. 2008 Accord V-6 4 DR is a refined mid size sedan and adds more power, room, safety, and features-to-cost value. Accelr8n is comparable and exceeds BMW 5 series. Build quality is exceptional. Ride quality is smoother with stiffer suspension on V-6 than 4 cyl . 5 speed auto tran SEAMLESS.

  • No Longer Accord Fan - 2008 Honda Accord

I have owned three Accords and by far this is the worst vehicle. The VCM system is horrible. I now have 5,000 miles and the situation is getting worse. You dont notice it until you reach cruising speed between 65-70 MPH. The ECO light is on but the car continues to fight between cylinder selection. This surge feeling actually makes you feel sick at times. I looked at the Chevy Malibu and decided to stick with Honda due to previous experience. I made a big mistake..!

I bought the silver with black interior because brown is easier to see dirt on. Manual is fun to drive, has great hp for a 4 banger. Looks clean when fixed up (wheels, lowered 1.2", tint, exhaust) I saw one and i was amazed! Great mileage, great interior. One thing that bugs me is the stereo speakers are not that good quality, and I like the 04 lights in the back better than the 05. 1st gear is a bit sluggish and stereo head unit is a pain to change/convert. If you keep it stock, its great! My first Honda and I love it.

I have had my Honda Accord for almost three years and I still love it. I have had no problems, only routine maintence. She has no rust and looks good.

  • 1st Honda - 2016 Honda Accord

This is our 1st Honda after years of Toyotas because the grills on the new Toyotas are so ugly we could not bring ourselves to buy one. Still too new to answer some of the questions but looks great and rides great. Some of the technology is not so easy to figure out and there is a lot of it. The navigation system appears to be outdated already as some construction completed in the last 2 years was not recognized. No USB port in the back seat is inconvenient and the cup holders are too deep for small cups. Not nearly as many little places to store things as our Toyotas had but the trunk is bigger.

  • I have never been happier - 2004 Honda Accord

I have never thought I could love a car as much as I do. This car has everything I need, and even more. I love the style of the car, the shape makes it so sporty, yet it has so much room in it. I believe after this car I will become a Honda car owner for life!!!
