Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Try before you buy - 2004 Honda Accord
By marks1 - January 13 - 10:00 amTook delivery a week ago. Overall it is a good vehicle which is smooth, powerful, handles well and fairly quite. Honda could have gone a few steps further to make it into an outstanding vehicle by increasing comfort(seats)and safety features (Day time running lights, auto door locks. Make sure seat is comfortable, a 10 minutes test drive is not enough

beware of new/redesigned model years - 1994 Honda Accord
By sergio rubio - January 12 - 2:00 amin the first 3 years, we had minor cosmetic problems, like door handle trim,(replaced many times-factory recall)-spent alot of time at dealers, glove box retainers broken, brake lights relaced every 6 mo. air conditioner smells after turning off and running just air major problems at 46000 mi- replace water pump!! new water pump now has 140000 miles!!!!!!!!!!replace slave cylinder! steering wheel deteriorated. at 90000 mi (5 yr) replace broken plastic radiator and again at 186000 (12/2003) new struts and shocks at 170000. very unhappy about these problems, but overall, 10 years, satisfied.

Tremendous Value...wish it handled like an Acura TL - 2013 Honda Accord
By rengoh - January 11 - 10:20 pmApplies to the Touring Model, FULLY loaded: The bottom line is this: The value is nearly impossible to beat. Although the car aint no Audi, if it had hydraulic steering, it could pass as an Acura TL hands-down and be priced as a $42,000 car--no joke. In fact, technologically, its interior is far superior to the Acura. If you are looking for a near-luxury, sporty family sedan under $35,000 that uses regular gasoline, then this is likely your car. You just have to make sure you can compromise with the very un-Honda-like electric steering. Its worth noting that the Altima is a serious competitor here, but the lack of rear-headroom and the lame sound system ruined it for me.

Honda tries to save on cost - 2010 Honda Accord
By jkendall - January 11 - 8:10 amI just turned in my 2007 Accord for my 2010 Accord, and I miss my 2007 Accord. This is a nice car, but it screams cheaper to me. I really like the exterior of the 2010 better, however, the interior is assembled with a lot of the hard plastics, an audio display that is unappealing, a seat I just cant get comfortable in, and an engine that seems a little more sluggish. I will say it does seem to have more interior room. I sold my 2007 to my brother, and I think he got the better end of the deal.

The End of my Accord - 1991 Honda Accord
By doughenning - January 11 - 2:00 amThis weekend, I put my 91 Accord to sleep. I will be selling or donating after 169K miles. Too many things had to be fixed to keep driving. Axels, tires, Timing Belt, Brakes, Steering fluid, Rear lights, speed sensor etc. All told around 3K. Loved my car but time to go. Bought another used car.

Unhappy Honda Owner - 1999 Honda Accord
By hobbes_esq - January 11 - 2:00 amI have driven it 63000 miles and I hate the car. The seat is uncomfortable and the emergency brake jabs into my leg. The cabin is noisy and you feel every bump in the road. The accelleration is slow. The car gets only 24mpg hwy. The ignition has been replaced twice. The car stalls nearly everytime I start it and the dealer cant fix it. The visor broke so it slides freely when I brake hard or turn. The cupholder is too large and un-adjustable. The power windows jam. I have owned an Escort, a Sentra, a Protege and a Regal, and each of them was better than this Accord.

I have returned to Honda - 2008 Honda Accord
By Ex toyota driver - January 10 - 2:53 pmI drove Honda back in the early nineties and thought I would not return. The design until 2008 I though was just ugly. When I saw this at the auto show, I desided to consider it again. Shopped it heavy, and this is just the best value. I commute alot, so interior is important to me, and its leather is does not seem cheap (like others in this price bracket) and comfort is top notch. I got the EX 4 cyl. for I live in so cal, and the 6 is not necessary sitting in traffic : ). Decent accel, huge back seat for my kids baby seats/ large friends. Read reviews about loud engine sound... mine is quiet. Feels like a luxury car but for about 10 grand less (why buy Acura?), will not go back Toyota

Great looks, quality and budget friendly too! - 2013 Honda Accord
By 350zguy - January 9 - 8:17 amBought my 2013 Accord Sport a few months ago, and have almost 6000 miles on it. The car handles really well, and averages about 27 mpg in town and about 35 mpg on the hwy. This Accord looks great - all black, and good fit and finish. The suspension, handling and brakes are perfect for my driving tastes. The dealer experience was super, too - I traded in my 2012 Civic EX with only 25k miles (it had been a huge disappointment).

Tough to beat - 1999 Honda Accord
By mdwitty - January 9 - 2:00 amI have had this car for 5 years with no problems. Compared to a camry, it runs a little loud, but it looks a lot better!!
