Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

This is the first Honda I have owned or leased. I traded in a 2002 Corvette and I couldnt be happier. The V6 engine is very quick and by adding items such as rear spoiler, tinted windows, fog lights and 17" wheels, the Accord handles much like the vette for a lot less money.

  • perfect car, just not the one i got - 2004 Honda Accord

overall virtually a perfect car. navigation is the best in the business. overwhelming power. too many features to list, including many i never would have thought of. XM is great. seats are great. All great except my car has a lot of rattles, the sunglass holder wont stay closed and bad tires. Guess its just my bad luck.

  • Roomy? Luxurious? Says who? - 2000 Honda Accord

Okay, I do like the CD changer and sunroof. As for the rest of the car, I am not impressed. Outside, the design is bland, and the badly-aligned trunklid indicates poor build quality. Under the hood, I see a layout that dates back to 1990. Inside, controls and switchgear are well-weighted, but cheap materials are abundant. Seats are unsupportive, upholstered with econocar-like cloth, and cramped. The roof squeaks horribly, handling is wallowy, and the engine runs with an annoying drone. In the trunk, there is an un-lined trunklid, compact spare tire, and a rear seat that folds in one piece. No 60/40 split. This is unacceptable on a car of this class, where luxury is now an issue.

I bought this car with 140000 miles on it and it is still going strong. I am sold on thr great quality and dependability. Will buy another without a second thought.

  • Hooked for Life! - 2008 Honda Accord

This is my fourth car and first Honda. I have always wanted one and I am definitely not disappointed! The gas mileage is great. I averaged 31.8 MPG after my first fill-up. One can not beat that for this type and size car! I can now see why Honda owners love their vehicles so much. Once you own one you will never want to go back!

  • Accord EX-L 4 cylinder w/Navi - 2009 Honda Accord

Car is nice but definitely has a loud engine. I realized that its more horsepower than some of the other models so that may be why. The steering wheel and seats are not very comfortable but the car itself is very nice looking and has a lot of features. Very disappointed with the amount of noise. When we bought we were told the 4cylinder is as good as the 6 cylinder. Thats really not true and Im sure they have a lot more 4 cylinders to sell. The 6 is a lot quieter.

  • Good Choice - 2010 Honda Accord

I considered the Accord, Altima and Fusion. Nissan incentives were not good and I cannot get over my past experience with Fords. I will always think of them as Fix Or Repair Daily. I selected the 2010 Accord Coupe EX-L/A 4 cyl. The 4 cyl provides more than enough power. I was torn between the 6cy and the 4 cyl but really did not notice much difference during the test drive. The interior of the vehicle is typical Honda, very good for the money. This is my fourth Honda and I have been impressed with the fit and finish of each vehicle. This Accord continues that tradition. For them money, it is hard to beat a Honda.

  • Keeps on tickin! - 1999 Honda Accord

Celebrating my 5 year anniversary with my Accord and for the most part have been extremely happy. The car is incredibly reliable. Other than a new set of brakes and tires, all Ive had to do is change the oil and filter. It is fun to drive, easy to maintain and holds four adults comfortably. The interior, in particular, has held up very well, no cracking leather seats like my previous Acura Legend.
