Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Another Great Accord - 2005 Honda Accord
By left1 - February 26 - 1:33 amWe purchased our Accord at the end of May. This is our third Accord. We traded an 04 Acura TL (a big disappointment) for the V6 EX. The Accord continues to be a great car. It is no wonder that it continues to win awards year after year. We have 5000 miles on it and have only had one issue with the glove box not being tight (rattle). The acceleration is almost as quick as the TL without the TLs torque. The car is much quiter and smoother than the TL. Unless your primary concerns is looks, "toys" and prestige you get a much better car for less money with the Accord

Great Car - 2010 Honda Accord
By rjl - February 24 - 10:33 pmTraded my Acura TL S 2003. Wanted to buy a new TL but design (UGH). Anyway, this car has been fantastic. Road noise not a problem and seats are comfortable. Just drove a 600 mile trip and got 29 hwy. I feel like I got my money worth especially considering the $13K I probably saved on not buying Acura or Lexus.

Excellent Family Car - 2002 Honda Accord
By MerrySong - February 23 - 10:00 amWell designed and well built car. Powerful but wasteful engine (considering that it is a HONDA). Silk smooth transmission. The low rev torque is kind of inadequate. My old ford taurus has more low rev torque. Quiet ride on even road. Getting nosier on rough road. The toyota camry I test driven do not have this problem. The body is kind of dent prone. You should be very careful even when you are washing you car. One of the best value for family car. No wonder, it was the best selling passenger vehicle in 2001.

Like the Mississippi - 1994 Honda Accord
By Oxford15 - February 22 - 2:00 amThis car just keeps rolling along with problems, without fuss. Though Ill probably but an Acura TL later this year, its not b/c Im having mechanical issues with this car. Reliability has been and continues to be outstanding. The only non-scheduled maintenance repairs Ive needed have been to replace the power antenna, the driver-side power lock motor, and the exhaust (at 9 yrs in the Northeast).

Why should I buy a new one? - 1993 Honda Accord
By knoxtenor - February 21 - 2:00 amThe 93 EX Coupe (6 cyl manual 5 spd) was the closest thing to a new car Ive ever owned. It was also by far the hottest, coolest car Ive ever owned. I bought it in 95 w/ about 28K miles, it, and at 146K, its still so amazingly reliable and fuel-effecient that I cant bear parting with it just because I want something modern and stylish with less wear-and-tear.

Impressive!! - 1991 Honda Accord
By Honda_fond - February 21 - 2:00 amI bought this used (110K) vehicle for my college bound son several years ago. He recently returned it to me with 170K miles as he succumbed to a new vehicle attraction. I replaced the alternator and a rear strut that was rattling and I am driving it daily about 100 miles. Im averaging 32 MPH and it is as tight and peppy as one half its age. First auto Ive owned in 62 years that Ive felt safe in driving these distances with the miles that are on it. It will be my work ride until I retire, I hope. Just dont overlook the timing belt!!!
