Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • honda utility, back and forth to work - 1997 Honda Accord

I bought this vehicle for reliable transportation to and from work. The car has been very dependable. However, the car is low and light...as a result, I do not feel that safe. Now that I have children, I plan to upgrade and buy something more safe. However, my Honda has been great and I am looking for to a high residual value.

A good dependable car. Spacious and performs better than any car that I had driven beforehand. Definitely worth the extra money to jump to a midsize as opposed to a high end Corolla or Civic. fuel efficiency is better than expected. Trunk pass through is disappointing, granted it does serve its purpose, Honda should have considered putting in a 60/40 split fold down rear seat instead.

I bought this car b/c I drive 60 miles a day to work and needed a low-cost reliable car since I just graduated from college. It is very reliable and gets awesome gas milage. I get 430-450 miles to the tank. The 5-speed is actually pretty fun to drive too. Although it lacks coolness, Im considering selling it for a chick magnet car like a Mustang/Camaro.

  • ACCORD WORKHORSE - 1991 Honda Accord

My 1991 Honda Accord was purchased off the showroom floor at the dealership. The car has performed beyond my expectations, at 155ooo miles I have never had a breakdown of any kind. The car is still in mint condition, it has been garaged throughout its years and has been serviced regularly since it was purchased. The Seattle Silver paint looks like the day I bought the car over 13 years ago, additionally the burgundy interior is as nice as a new car. Its still recognized on the street by a regular joe simply for the obvious TLC its owner has provided. Honda made a fine automobile in 1991 with its Accord line. Bravo !

it was my first car. It hasnt died in any way. Now im forced to sell it because i didnt think it would last this long and I want a bigger car to pull horses. Its awesome. Everyone loves it. Its fast, cute, and really reliable.

  • Just Solid - 2001 Honda Accord
    By -

This car is just solid. The doors are solid, the steering tight, and the power is smooth. After driving a 2000 Civic EX there is just no comparison. You can literally hear the quality by tapping on some of the interior panels. Honda has acknowledged the above average failure in the transmission and has compensated by extending the warranty to 100k miles. Im not concerned at all.

  • Lemon - 2001 Honda Accord

I heard Honda cars were so reliable. Not mine. I must have gotten a lemon. Transmission leak, and a bunch of minor, non-engine, problems.

  • looks great - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

this is my first honda and i am impressed with the body style but the handling of the car tires and suspension needs improvement. sometimes it feels as if i am driving on a rocky road when the road is smooth.the sales associate was inadequate in showing the features of the car.i have had to bring the car in twice for minor repairs in 3 months.not happy with that.

  • My 1994 Accord - 1994 Honda Accord
    By -

I am 16 and this is my first car. I absolutely love it. It has 129,000 miles on its V6 engine, but still rides and drives like new. Very good car for the money, no rattles or squeaks, still looks good for a 10 year old car. Has excellent power, many optional features

  • Hard Seats - 2002 Honda Accord

Seats are harder than previous vehicle (Chevy Impala). Handling is excellent
