Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Worth a test drive - 1996 Honda Accord

Being in sales, Im very tough on autos and this one has lived up to the tests. Very reliable, comfortable and fun to drive, handles like a dream. I had the 5 speed manual transmission which is nice on back roads, and for immediate extra power, but annoying in the city. If you need something affordable, dependable, and extremely economical this is a great choice.

  • what a great vehicle! - 1994 Honda Accord

I bought this car new and only had basic maintenance with replacing brakes and oil changes until about 95K when I had to replace the master cylinder. I changed the timing belt as well - car performed well and only started to show signs of rust when I moved to Northeast - about 125K - in the area above the rear wheel well.

  • Good car but Honda can do better - 2017 Honda Accord
    By -

its a good car but not a great car. Theres a lot of nice technological features. The car rides smooth. Its nice looking. Couple issues though. First, the cvt transmission isnt great In city driving. Jerks at low speeds. Car doesnt want to stop easy as theres no downshift. Infotainment is slow responding. Wheels look nice but they stick out from the tire making it easy to get curb rash. Mileage in the city is not good.

  • practical fun - 1995 Honda Accord

This is the second honda accord Ive owned. Ive owned many other cars like volvo, english ford, triumph, ranger, mustang, etc. and none can compare with the overall joy of owning one of these cars! Ive had no trouble with this car and for a front wheel drive car, it handles very well. Its a manual trans, (Ive never owned an automatic) and even with the miles and age, still shifts smooth and short. If I change, it will only be to a S2000.

  • Good Car, But I Like My Old Honda Better - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

Good overall car, but Ive gotten very poor fuel economy with the 4cyl. I get 18-20 in the city regardless of how I drive. The brakes have started squealing more than usual too. Ive owned 2 other Honda products and loved them. I just dont love this car. Id rather have my 89 Accord.

  • Great Car Fairly Low Price - 2003 Honda Accord

Honda has once again refined an already good car. We love it.

  • Does everything better than average - 2003 Honda Accord

First, is the great gas mileage (for a powerful V6) and it uses 87 octan REGULAR unleaded. Quiet and powerful engine that causes front tires to loose grip momentarily off start. Surprised by a great sound system. Not Bose or Infiniti or Harmon, but competes well with any of those. Navigation system is very useful, even for local 5 minute trips to places unknown. Beware though, not every address and business are on the DVD, even some local grocery stores are not there. I think this is the sensible midsize choice for most, Maxima, Passat and Camry are all okay for adolescents, yuppies and the comatose respectively.

  • Awesome POWER - 2004 Honda Accord

Great power, but lacks in handling.

  • ONE FAST HONDA - 2004 Honda Accord

I WAS NOT TO MUCH FOR THE EXTERIOR STYLING...BUT THE INSIDE IS GREAT AND THE PERFORMANCE IS OUT OF THIS WORLD FOR A HONDA ACCORD!!!

  • Great Car - 2006 Honda Accord

This is my first Honda and definitely not the last. I love the power of the V6 engine but the fuel economy suffers a bit (getting average 24MPG in city, got 27MPG on recent long highway trip). I love the spacious interior of this sedan. The leg room, adjustable seat, and telescopic steering wheel are a big plus for me since I am 6’ 2”. The radio display that comes with navigation system is great but I was surprised to find that the FM station (station ID, song title, etc.) information was not displayed. It’s one of those things that once you’ve had it; you miss when it is not available. I can live without it though. Overall very satisfied with the car.
