Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Huge bang for the buck - 2005 Honda Accord
By BDH - March 26 - 6:03 pmThis is our third Honda, and it just keeps getting better. Compared to other cars in its class, it was an easy decision for us. We opted to go with the 4 cyl EX-Leather to save some money. Though the 160hp motor is no powerhouse, it certainly gets out of its own way. And the i-VTEC delivers power when you really need it. The drive is great, the styling and build quality are superb. We are really enjoying this vehicle. Its the best Honda Accord to date.

Great Sedan - 2010 Honda Accord
By Unearthed - March 26 - 7:03 amI ended up with a 4cyl EX after looking at pretty much every trim Honda offers in the Accord. I really think the v6 feels slightly underpowered in this car...I couldnt justify the price difference to step up to the 6. The EX-L has all the cool tech gadgets and I wish you could have a regular EX with them included. I hate leather seats, especially when I felt how nice the cloth was in the EX version. The car handles extremely well, and I dont notice the body roll Edmunds mentions in their review. The 190hp is adequate and the ride is firm enough yet not harsh. Build quality is fantastic and Honda has done a great job with the quality of the interior.

By rjblue - March 26 - 12:10 ami have the EX-V6 and the power is there when i need to accelarate very quickly. very effective brakes, low road noise and handling is nimble but the ride is on the stiff side.

Love the new Accord - 2003 Honda Accord
By Catra - March 25 - 2:00 amThis is my first new car, and I love it! Not as fond of the exterior as I am of the new Altima, but the Accord makes up for it in the interior. Extra bright gauges, a pretty good sound system, and it is so comfortable! I love the ride, the wheel is very responsive, and bumps arent jarring at all. Great car for the price!

Grrrrrreat - 2003 Honda Accord
By Nycmichael - March 25 - 2:00 amThere were only two snags that I experienced with the car. First off I realized a horrible rotten egg smell after I would accelerate sharply or for an extended period of time. Its ok to do this because all Hondas are red lined off the line. The smell turned out to be the catalytic converter breaking in, this is supposed to go away after 2000 miles, Im at 1600 so I cant confirm this. The second is the gas milage. After getting the car I realized I wasnt getting the advertised gas milage. This also turns out to be a breaking in issue, I was told that after 3000/4000 miles (with highway cruising) the car will begin to achieve its normal mpg.

Went from S2000 to Accord Cpe V6 w Nav - 2008 Honda Accord
By Joseph - March 24 - 9:20 pmI turned in my S2000 for the Accord Coupe V6 w/ Nav and auto trans. I must say the nav is fun to play with, still getting to know all the functions and voice command. The stereo and XM radio is great. The speedo/tach is a little boring compared with the new Civics and S2000, but its bright and legible at night. There is a faint pull when the cylinders switch from 6 down to "eco" mode, but its very faint. Ride and handling are great as is the power, though pretty unimpressed with overall fuel economy but at least it doesnt take premium (averaging 23 mpg). But it looks hot, so for me, switching from an S2000 to this was important. People will gawk.

2nd Honda a hit... - 2006 Honda Accord
By RayG - March 23 - 10:56 amThis is the first time repeating a Manufacturer, and will probably go Honda for the next time as well. After 5 trouble-free years with a 2001 CR-V, it was time to change to something a bit more Adult since we didnt really care for the new CRV styling. We purchased a new 06 leftover in November from the same dealer. The Accord is a dream to drive with little or no fatigue. Fuel economy is better than the sticker,(35+ on a recent Boston trip) as was the CRV. Excellent handling without being to jarring on the road with the many obstacles here in NYC.
