Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

After 11 Hondas Im very disssapointed - 2008 Honda Accord
By Gary"US - April 23 - 3:23 amThis is my 6th Accord and the very first that I have ever had a problem with. DONT rely on your test drive, the seats are Very uncomfortable and when the engine goes into the "econo" mode the vehicle "shifts/rocks violently" forward and when leaving the "econo" mode it shifts/rocks forward once again which means that the vehicle is "CONTINUOUSLY" SHAKING AND ROCKING. 5 trips to the dealer resulted in 1 new wheel, 3 new tires and rotors turned down, (3000 miles)? have produced nothing! My best MPG at 60 on cruise is 22. I have a 2006 Accord V6 and routinely get 28/29MPG and the ride is Beautiful!!! Seats are very comfortable and ride is very smooth! Save your money, buy a used 06

my cool accord - 1994 Honda Accord
By lil hawk - April 23 - 2:00 amI bought this car as 2nd car to not have to drive truck all time. You just cant beat a Honda Accord. 10 years old and dash and instrument panel is modern, excellent quality, and looks good. excellent 5 speed shifting. engine runs like new. very good handling/ride compromise. cold a/c. great gas mileage. still looks hot even at 10!!! NO American make of same age could even come close to the attributes of the Accord!! Feel like the car has a lot of years left.

Good choice for the money - 1999 Honda Accord
By notsoslimshady - April 23 - 2:00 amThis car has been very reliable. Weve put on a lot of miles, and not only is it great on gas, but other than basic oil changes, nothing has been replaced on it or has been broken....65k and still going strong

It will run forever - 1992 Honda Accord
By MLF_66062 - April 23 - 2:00 amThis car will run forever. I have 235,000 miles on mine. It has some nuiscance items later in its life (oil leak, main relay (causes problems starting the car in hot hot weather), etc.). Overall, though, if youre a frugal person that will stay with a car for a long time, this is the one for you. I have had extremely low maintence costs and have really enjoyed owning this car.

Best Value on the Market - 2004 Honda Accord
By kaerae - April 22 - 4:40 amThis is my 3rd Honda Accord to own, and I just keep going back to them! My last one was a 2002 EXL-V6, and I traded for the 4-cylinder this time for better gas mileage. I was really impressed with the improved acceleration in the 4- cylinder as compared to the 2002 model, I dont miss the 6- cylinder at all, and this one is sooo much more fun to drive and a whole lot more comfortable!

A very nice car for the price - 2006 Honda Accord
By vb - April 19 - 7:33 pmI had a test drive on 2004 BMW 325i, 2.5 L, - and, unexpectedly, was disappointed. The 6 speed V6 Accord is the best idea so far. This car is clearly not boring. Driving is GREAT!!! The only problem remains is the ROAD NOISE.

Absolutely, best value for the dollar - 2009 Honda Accord
By Cecil Ingram - April 19 - 6:00 pmMy Honda accord drives like a sports car, has great positive steering, not the mushy feeling like Nissan or Toyota. Love the exterior design, even Mercedes has copied it. Im 6,2" and enjoy the leg room. The seats are great, reminds me of the 911-s I used to own. The interior also has the full size feeling (the Altima and Camry were definitely mid-size). Gas mileage is very satisfactory, getting about 23 1/2 mph town-33 mph hiway.

I LOVE my first Honda! - 2003 Honda Accord
By MyFirstHonda - April 19 - 2:00 amLooking originally at a Civic for reliability and better price and economy. After looking at the over priced Corolla we decided to step up to the Altima. But after driving the Accord we were in love (well my wife was). We were replacing a top of the line Dodge Avenger that had V6, leather, moon, etc. The accord fit the bill, even with the 4 cyl. engine. Plenty of pep even compared the the V6 Avenger, better ride, awesome seats and stereo system.

Not a happy camper - 2003 Honda Accord
By brknardo - April 19 - 2:00 amSerious problems, fast idle when cold, car runs at 20 mph with foot off the gas pedal. Dealer cant fix. Gas milage is at 23-24 mpg, again they cant fix. This is my first Honda, I think it will be my last. After looking at the NHSTA site, others are having problems as well (including airbags that dont work on impact). Im more than a little concerned with the quality of this car. Suggest you do a lot of research before buying. Appears to have a rotten egg smell that enters the drivers compartment, nasty.
