Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

This is my third Honda Accord and I like this model the best. And agian, the quality is outstanding - no gigs for the dealer to work off.

  • FUN - 2003 Honda Accord

When I test drove my car, my only thought was "this is so much fun" I havent enjoyed driving a car this much in almost 20 years. This was my first "foreign" car. My service rep. assured me that more parts for this car were made in the USA than my Ford. I love everything about this car. I smile when I see it in the parking lot after work. My husband said, "no one needs this much power in a car this size." I disagree.

The gas milage is great. I just took a 8143 mile trip to Calgary Canada total average milage was 28.+ and that is from a 240 hp car. the traney could be better for a 6 stik. it was comfortable and has great looks. I had to pay a premeium for the car. I love this car but it is up for sale as I want to buy a 2004 coupe 6stick with sat nav

  • Make your own Honda - 2001 Honda Accord

I turned a plain car into a car that is eye catching and fun to drive. The price I paid was below dealer invoice, because I shopped around. I used the money I saved to make it look sportier. No problems whatsoever in te two years I have had it. Tinted windows a must, euro tail lights, kept same tires added aluminum wheels, a honda bra for front end, xenon fusion blue bulbs in headlamps, neons on hood, racing seat covers, blue interior lights, and stainless steel exhaust adds horsepower and better acceleration.

  • Some what satisfied - 2002 Honda Accord

Very nice car... Air conditioning is not acceptable in hot weather... Dealer has looked at the AC and cant find any thing amiss... Freon is supposedly okay.. This spoils the way I feel about the car... I possible not purchase another Accord..

  • Wonderful car - 2008 Honda Accord

Ive owned a 94 Accord for 14 years and am very pleased with the makeover that Honda finally did with this model. This is comfortable, fun to drive and very quiet. I only wish it would have a better gas mileage with this 4 cylinder engine however Im hoping it will improve after its broken in. Im currently getting just 20 miles per gallon with half city and half freeway driving.

  • Blown Away!!! - 2008 Honda Accord

After months of research on this and other sites & countless test drives, I decided on the 08 Accord Coupe. Im absolutely thrilled with my decision! The fit & finish would lead you to believe youre in top of the line luxury car. Definitely a head-turner, I get looks from BMW, Acura, & Lexus drivers all the time; maybe they realize they paid $10k more than they had to for a top-notch car. For people complaining about low fuel economy, are you red-lining it at every stop light or something? I drive aggressively and still get 25 MPG city. The 31 MPG hwy rating is right-on, last 2 trips I got right at 31.4 MPG. Take care of it, drive it right, and it will take care of you (& your wallet)!

  • MOST RELIABLE CAR - 1994 Honda Accord
    By -

Absolutely incredible reliability. Zero unexpected repairs, only routine maintainance (oil chges, filters, bulbs timing belts, etc.) in over 365,000 miles. Starts better than my wifes new Accord, and drives like the day I bought it cloth seats show no wear. 2 failures in all this time: cassette player eats tapes so it now holds my CD adapter, and the electric antenna mast needed to be replaced ($25.). I kept it away from local Honda garage which has a reputation for creating problems. This has also been my experience with my daughters 93 Accord which has not been as trouble free (bought used).

  • Not Impressed - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

So much for Honda reliability. The tires which Honda has decided to equip there best selling car with are the worst rated for driving on snow and in wet conditions. The satellite radio cuts out constantly, the heated seats are barely warm, the sound system is pathetic and the brakes wore out around 15,000 miles (google it...theres lots of complaints). On top of all that the engine is completely lame...just not fun to drive at all.
