Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Some Good, Some Bad - 2007 Honda Accord
By Dagwood - May 13 - 4:46 amI like this car, but the manual transmission has become frustrating in cold weather. Difficult 3rd gear shift and it will occasionally throw the stick out of gear. This is not uncommon with this transmission in the sedan, coupe, S2000, Civic si, and Acura TL. I love everything else about the car and I still like the 6-speed even with this problem - I just wish Honda would solve the issue. Comfy seats, good accel and passing power, nice ride, decent handling, nice stereo, heated mirrors & seats. I put Dunlop Wintersport M3s on the car and the are wonderful - better than the stock Michelins. Im not a huge fan of the look of the rear end of the car, but I like it better than the 08s.

It aint your grandmas Honda! - 2003 Honda Accord
By William S. Rannells - May 13 - 3:46 amA few more "add-ons" and I would never look at another car. Performs like cars costing $10,000 - $20,000 more. Gas milage on the highway around 32 mph and 20 mph around town. Bought another just like it for my son;he got the 4cyl, I got the jet!

First Impressions - 2006 Honda Accord
By Quizmaster - May 11 - 6:53 pmThis is our first Honda and after the first two weeks we are very happy with it. It has amazing power for a 4 cylinder. I have driven mainly 6 cylinder cars but i think a 6 cylinder in an Accord would be overkill. We got 26 mpg on our 1st tank which mainly consisited of city driving. The Honda tradition of building quality cars is reflected in our vehicle. All the controls are just where they should be and fall easily to hand. The Honda Accord would be a good choice for anyone looking for a reliable car which also gets very good gas mileage. This may be my first Honda but if it continues to impress it wont be my last.

Great Longevity - 1991 Honda Accord
By HondaHappy - May 11 - 2:00 amI have owned my Accord for eight years, and still enjoy driving it, with over 300,000 Kms. Esentially, the reliability and quality of the Honda Engine is second to none. As long as regular oil changes are made, the engine is unbreakable. However, I have had my share of repairs made over the years - replaced a rad, extensive exhaust work, gas line repairs, CV boots, etc. The many harsh Canadian winters that the car has gone through have taken a toll, as the body is starting to rust, and the gas tank and gas lines could stand to be overhauled, but it is not worth it at this point (for a 13 year old car).

2017 ex-l v6 coupe...sweet ride !! - 2017 Honda Accord
By Mattie - May 11 - 1:42 amThis is my first Honda and i am extremely impressed. I test drove a couple of higher end coupes before test driving this Honda and for the money you cant beat the EX-L. Very sporty and surprisingly QUICK !! With 3 driving options , ECO Drive, Sport mode or Paddle Shifter, this car is a blast to drive. If you like Gadgets this is the car for you, especially with the apple car play !! Two tone leather heated seats is also very comfortable !! Having trouble seeing traffic on the passenger side to switch lanes ? Dont worry , this car has you covered with a passenger side camera mounted under the mirror that shows you the whole right lane !!........I can go on and on, but get out and drive this car,you too will give it a thumbs up !!

What else to say? Its a Honda. - 2009 Honda Accord
By Dennis - May 10 - 4:42 pmFirst of all, the reliability of Honda is unsurpassed. They make a great car. Although I have the 2door coupe with the 6 cyl., being 68 years old its more difficult to get in and out of as when I was a teenager. The power, reliability, steering, and general wear are terrific. I keep my cars for 10 years and take excellent care. It is garaged 365 nights a year. The body doesnt have a mark on it. Perhaps because I park in lots where few others are willing to walk so far. The past Hondas Ive had were passed down to my children and driven for another 100,000 miles. They are just great.

By gill - May 10 - 2:48 pmBefore I bought this car I had done a lot of research on it so I pretty much knew the ins and outs before I even bought it Honda is a real reliable motor Ive been running on Honda motors for many many years I have very little complaints like the carpets were cheap the floorboard is cheap hand the clipse that they use to hold the panels together are cheap but all in all it is a gorgeous car and I can deal with the little problems like that but I love the new design I love the new interior it is all around a gorgeous car we came from a luxury vehicle and I feel Honda has really made the Accord a nice lunch review. Has to be the touring model its the best one

great car - 2008 Honda Accord
By Peter - May 9 - 5:23 amWhen my car suddenly broke, my first thought was a Toyota, but found out that they were too small. Next I saw a Camry, but wasnt smooth enough. I looked at the accord, and fell in love with it. My son liked the ex-l the best, but that was out of our budget. He wanted the ex for the sunroof at least, but that wasnt necessary for us. We went with the LX-P because of the rims. The car is very smooth for a v4, my first, but I thought that the gas mileage should be More about 38-45. Well I guess we cant have everything. The car is great, both with styling and performance. This is my first Japanese car, and so far so good! I would definitely recommend this car to any body, any age
