Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Almost too good to be true. - 1995 Honda Accord
By Kevin Senecal - May 16 - 2:00 amCant say enough about this car. 167,000 miles and she runs like new! Follow the manual to a tee and shell last forever. I too am getting 30+ miles per gallon. Drawbacks: Slight rust below gas cap (thats with meticulous care), fuel filter is one hell of a project, replacing rotors is a nightmare.

Honda Accord - 1994 Honda Accord
By mperez - May 16 - 2:00 amWhen I bought my Honda, it was 2yrs old. The car has been excellent. Very few things have gone wrong. It is now over 10yrs old with over 130,000 miles and I know that it will start every morning. Only problems areas have been the a/c and the cv joints. otherwise, I take it in for a tuneup every year and thats it. still put around 15k miles on it a year, and ov80mph on hiway

cant go wrong - 2004 Honda Accord
By hondaown2233 - May 15 - 10:00 amI have had this car a little over a year and love it. No problems, no glitches, no repairs. Drives well, great mileage. The 4 cyl is all you need unless you are a hot-rodder. I did put a seat cushion in the drivers seat - could use more thigh support. Everything works and works well!!

damn nice car at low ass cost - 2004 Honda Accord
By ilovemyhonda - May 15 - 10:00 amthis is the only car under 30,000 to get 3.0 liter and 240 hp with full option. this is much more roomier than 350z and g35 for the driver and passengers. honda is known for its excellence at low costs and i never regret getting this car for even one second.

Best Car I have Driven - 2004 Honda Accord
By Lee Ovian - May 15 - 10:00 amI am in sales and was in need of dependable and reliable vehicle that had navigation. I am die-hard Chevy fan and hard a time separating my feelings for another GM product. After several weeks of contemplating what car buy, I decided on the Accord. The Navigation system was far superior to Onstar and other competitors such as Nissan. I have owned this car one week and I am truly impressed with my purchase. I would recommend this car in a heartbeat. Just two weeks ago I was reading others testimonials and based on the positive feedback made the decision to buy the Accord and you should to.

Major Disappointment - 2008 Honda Accord
By Major Disappointment - May 14 - 4:23 amThis is my third Accord and will be the last. The car is big and ponderous. It does not track straight. Constantly steering corrections to the right or left to keep the car go straight. The drivers seat is very uncomfortable. The head rest tills forward which pushes the drivers head forward at a very uncomfortable position. The seat is too deep that the edge cuts into the drivers calves. The arm rest on the door is too far away to rest your arm. Build quality is lacking. The car is under powered.

Decent car with some reliability problem - 1995 Honda Accord
By Tushar - May 14 - 2:00 amBought this new in April 1995 and put 95k miles since then. Biggest complaint is the ABS unit broke twice after 3 year warranty expired. Cost me $800 each time for after market part. Recently the oil leaked completely so had to do a major servicing and since then the original smoothness and quietness is lost. Lot of engine vibrations in first 2 gears. Better after 30mph. Maybe mine was one of the bad apples. A/C worked fine for first 3 years but now it seems to have gotten weak. Dealer says cant do much about it. Overall not very happy with the car. Prefer Toyota and have bought a Sienna Van recenlty.

225000 miles and still running strong. - 1992 Honda Accord
By msyalor - May 14 - 2:00 amWhat more can I say. Minimal maintentance, and when you do it can be expensive for parts. Starting to burn a little oil, but original engine, never touched. Replaced starter and radiator, and the basics. No major problems. Still gets good gas mileage. Engine is very strong for a car this old with this many miles. Rides better than my 2001 Civic.
