Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Unbelievable Value - 2004 Honda Accord
By jimbocullen - July 8 - 2:00 amMy first Honda. Ive owned a couple Acura Integras in the past, and was happy with them. Picked the Accord over the Mazda 6 and Nissan Altima. I was pretty sold on buying a Mazda 6, and wasnt even considering an Accord because I thought it was too conservative looking. I drove the Accord anyway, and fell in love with it right away. The interior quality and finish is generally superior to the other cars I looked at. And the performance, wow! Impressive low end torque. As quiet and smooth a car as Ive ever been in. Ive been getting over 25mpg, better than the 2.5L V6 in my Mazda 626. No missing features on the ES-V6, everything is standard.

Not all theyre cracked up to be! - 2004 Honda Accord
By DaleMF - July 8 - 2:00 amIm surprised by the inconsistency between magazine reviews of this vehicle and actual real world driving. For the most part, it is a well built vehicle, though far from the perfect theyre said to be. Interior is plagued by multiple annoying rattles, especially in the doors, back shelf and the console bin cover. Stereo would be fine if only I could play it louder, but the vibrations it causes keep me from doing so. Dealer has yet to correct. Engine is outstanding, though. And while most cars grow on you after a while styling- wise, this one looks less attractive the longer I have it.

Love this Honda - 2002 Honda Accord
By realking - July 8 - 2:00 amI have never owned the "best car on the road" before. Now I understand why Honda owners love Honda. Best car Ive ever owned. Great engine -- more than enough power. Will never go back to American!

Awesome Car! - 2001 Honda Accord
By KrisCraz18 - July 8 - 2:00 amI have no major complaints about this car, except that the side airbag light goes on when a heavier person is sitting in the passenger seat, or I have books on there. Overall, I love driving this car!

Suprising Honda Accord Problems - 2003 Honda Accord
By Louis Amoanti - July 8 - 2:00 amCar was purchased new. After five dealer visits, a service bulletin was found regarding clunking and creaking noises from the cars underbody. A number of BODY WELDS were apparently MISSED AT THE FACTORY. The car is now being serviced by a body shop for spot welding the defect areas. There are also noises from something loose in the drivers seat. This has yet to be fixed. Face plate on Sound System needed to be replaced as it came loose. Car has some door rattles.

A bit disappointed..... - 2003 Honda Accord
By carco - July 8 - 2:00 amThis is my 5th Accord. Although the fit and finish is better than my 1998 Accord, and it seems much more solid, I am disappointed with the number of creeks and squeeks in it at only 18,000 miles. My 1998 (6 years old) Accord had less squeeks and rattles when I traded it, which makes me wonder just how noisy is this car going to be in a few more years!.

1991 Honda Accord LX - 1991 Honda Accord
By bbesser1 - July 6 - 10:00 amI bought this car used because I had heard that they are very reliable. The clutch went out on it at 130,000 miles and cost $950 to fix, I have had the valve cover replaced, and had a leak in the oil pan. It is a very comfortable car and once fixed have no doubt that it will be a very reliable car. It purrs when it is on the highway and I have been getting 28 mpg. Other cars in the paper in MN have been selling with 250K + on them for $2000 which speaks a lot for their durability. The body will fall off long before the engine wears out.

A great value - 2002 Honda Accord
By TH83 - July 6 - 10:00 amAfter months of researching sedans in the low-$20k range I finally decided on the Accord EX V6. Ive never made a better decision in my life. Its the best car out there for the money(I paid $22k). It has decent power, a smooth ride, confident handling, quality interior materials, great seats, bland- but-tasteful styling and Hondas well- known reputation for reliability.
