Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Nice Car - 2010 Honda Accord

At 39 years of age, the EX-L is my first brand new car. I always bought used. And coming from a 20 year old BMW 3 series, the Honda is a nice change. Honda has a nice ride. Not too soft and not too harsh. Overall a nice basic mid size sedan with an elegant touch with the leather package. I4 motor could use a little more low end torque. Its a little slow at first, but does well once you get up to speed. Didnt want to spend the extra $2k for the 6 cyl. The styling is growing on me. I hope it stays as reliable as my wifes Odyssey.

I have had the car for three weeks and have taken two trips that were over 200 miles each way and have found the car to be very comfortable, quiet with good power for acceleration. My on road gas mileage averaged 32 mpg.

Great sporty sedan with room. This car exceeds all expectations. Coming out of a 2001 BMW 325XI, the Accord with 6MT gives up nothing to the BMW in handling and exceeds it in power and driving fun. This car is 95% the same car as the Acura TL but loads less money. Get the EX sport package, it is well worth the money to give the car a little better appearance. Also added the splash guards and full nose mask. Got all these accessories for about $900, MSRP was $2200 installed. Paid $300 over invoice for the car.

  • Not Bad... owes me nothing - 1994 Honda Accord

My main complaint with the 94 Honda is the rust problems with the rear wheel wells. However, I just decided to put some $$$ into fixing the rust since the car has been pretty reliable overall, and actually felt as fun to drive than a new one! In the 7 years I have owned it, have had two oil leaks (one reimbursed later due to recall), and have had to replace both window motors, clutch slave cylinder, and A/C condenser. Removed heat shield to get rid of the silly noise. Currently, the right door actuator keeps making a noise, the hood doesnt shut well, and in really hot humid weather sometimes doesnt start the first time.

I never thought I would buy a Honda but when I first saw the options availabe on the new Accords I was very impressed. The nav system really grabbed my attention. The ride is smooth and comfortable while still giving that in control sporty feel. It has more horse power than most other cars in its class and it comes through when you hit the pedal. The car is actually for my wife as I am a Ford Truck man, but I really like to drive this car. The final item to put me over the top was the price, I could never get into another car with as many great features for the $27k I paid. I only have about five hundred miles on the car so far but have no second thoughts.

  • Poor interior craftmanship - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

From the first day, the right front window area rattled. Eventually the back seat, moonroof, and post behind the driver-side front window all began to rattle. Fortunately the radio drowns much of it out. Forget a quiet ride in this car. I guess thats what happens when they are assembled in the US...

  • Mostly good, but with some warts - 2002 Honda Accord
    By -

Honda always makes a great engine; no complaints there. The car is as solid as they come. The problem we had was with the interior construction. TONS of squeaking and rattling, especially in colder weather, even only a few weeks old. We had it back into the dealer more than 10 times in the first 6 months. They never could fix it.

  • The EX V6 offers nothing less than - 2004 Honda Accord

a Lexus ES330 and is costing $7000 less. This is the car for people like me who is pragmatic and does not care much about showing off with a lexus name.

  • Ive Owned an Accord Since 1983, Why Change Now? - 2014 Honda Accord

The 2014 is a nice upgrade from my 2003 Accord. The cabin is nicely appointed, and the new technology is fun to use.
