Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • The Best Buy ! - 2003 Honda Accord

I bought my first Accord on 1994 and just traded it in (could have kept it) for the new 2003! Redesigned with more room, leather is fantastic and the sound system rocks! I love the new dash, the heated seats are nice and comfy. it handles very well, smooth ride, little road noise but that is ok, unlike the Camery, were you cannot hear anything (not good for EMS/Police) Highly recomend!

  • Not too bad - 2003 Honda Accord

The interior of this car is nice. The ride however is a bit rough (I guess thats why you have Lexus and Mercedes ;-). The audio is so-so. Handling reasonable. I got 29.5 mpg on strictly high-way (cruising at 80 mph). A bit disappointed there. I dont regret my purchase decision, except I should have given Camry more thought next time...

  • Dream car - 2003 Honda Accord

Ive been coveting this car since last fall and was on pins and needles as the dealer tried to find the car in white. Having finally taken delivery of it, it is everything I expected and more. The car is responsive and quiet. The seating is comfortable and can fit my family of four easily. The leather and wood trim are nice touches that "luxury- ize" the vehicle. And, the 6-speed is a blast to shift through. I previously drove a 95 Civic to 170k miles -- Im looking foward to another 170k in this Accord.

  • Great Car but not Perfect - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

Ive got about 1200 miles thus far and am pleased with my purchase. Great ride and comfortable leather seats. Great interior design and ergonomics with the exception of the way the seat belts retract. If you dont hold them all the way to retraction, they will leave marks on the pillars. There doesnt seem to be enough room between the pillar and the seat back for the seat belt to retract properly. Also, my gas mileage has been poorer than expected thus far and I hope it improves.

  • 4th and last Honda - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

I regret trading my 99. 03 LX-V6 may be softer, quieter and more powerful but my other three Hondas were much more fun and satisfying. The fit and finish of older Hondas was far superior to the slop thats out now; hood/fenders/doors line up poorly & the door/window trim has been replaced twice in 3 months. Dash reflections cause optical distortions- lower right. Rear view mirror blocks view. Trans slow to downshift. Lumbar bulge too high. Numb road feel-feedback. Weak dealer service. The good: gas mileage better than EPA, smooth & powerful engine, but for tire noise a very quiet interior, easy to read guages, & nice materials.

  • Everything is great but... - 2000 Honda Accord
    By -

I love my honda with one exception, the paint. No other car that I have ever owned has reacted to road debris such as pebble to the negative degree of my Accord. The front end, both bumper area which is plastic and the hood which is steel have more then an average number of dings. All of the dings to metal have started to rust, some are now the size of dimes. Everything else is great, but this issue is one reason why I may not return to Honda when I replace my Accord.

  • Good bang for the buck - 2005 Honda Accord

A very good ride. It gets good gas mileage with the 4 cylinder and automatic transmission. Very good leather seats. XM radio is great!

  • Best car I ever owned - 1992 Honda Accord
    By -

This is my third Honda, and my favorite. I bought it with 125k and have had only routine maintenance to do on it. I love the visibility and handling, which the newer ones lack. The fuel economy is rare and the 5-spd manual trans lends a feeling of control. We just bought a 1999 Accord EX and its just not the same. They dont ake em like they used to!

  • Pros - 1993 Honda Accord
    By -

Bought this car new for my wife. (and me too) traded in 1988 century. Bummer. Have had wonderful luck with it. Expensive to recharge A/C but worth. Thinking of trading in for 2005 Odyssey. Seating kinda low making getting out uncomfortable. Engine purrs like a kitten.

  • Cheaply Made and cheap looking - 2016 Honda Accord
    By -

I deeply regret trading my Honda CR-V for the Accord Sedan. The car rides nice but it is very uncomfortable and hard to get in and out of. The seat belts definitely are not made for short people and getting in and out is difficult for tall people. The seats are a lousy foam rubber and do not provide any lumbar support. The fabric on the door panels are grey and are beginning to show signs of wear and tear with only 5,000 miles on the car. The integrity of the body is greatly compromised. I dont think this car is worthy of the Honda name and am already looking to get rid of it.
