Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Dont do it!!! - 2002 Honda Accord
    By -

#8 on my list BUT I fell for Hondas aggressive lease program and to save a few bucks, I signed. Ive been sorry ever since. Gas mileage (15-18 city) SUX! The ride is EXTREMELY rough! Sunroof opens halfway. Loose screws and rattles found everywhere. A slug could beat this car from a dead stop.

  • The Best of Performance, Style & Quality - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

I traded my 2004 Chevrolet Corvette for a new 2008 Honda Accord Coupe V6 and I am totally happy. This car has great gas mileage even with the V6. Its much more comfortable than the Vette and I absolutely love driving it. It has great handling and does so with comfort. I researched many other makes and models but for the performance, quality, and style, the accord won hands down for cars under $32,000. HONDA, YOU GET AN A+! Thanks

  • Similar to RL, nicer on my budget. - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

I traded my 2004 Acura TSX w/57k for this baby! I looked for months for a car to "catch" my eye. I got the Sapphire Blue w/ black leather & NAV, its a beauty to drive! Great feel of the road, and roomey enough my kids no longer kick me. We loved our TSX, but this is extrodinarily similar on the inside! All the buttons are pretty much the same, but gave me the creature comforts of my old TSX while giving me the RL space. AND I saved money! I couldnt figure how to program the radio presets, or turn down the fan on the climate control yet but I have the bible to read now. Honda hit it out of the park with this one! The 6-speed is a blast and the V6 makes it not my Moms car! Watch Out Road

  • Great Car - Bad Brakes - 2008 Honda Accord

This car is great in all aspects except for the brakes. I have replaced the brakes in less than 35K miles.

  • Best car Honda has ever made! - 1992 Honda Accord
    By -

In March 2002, I totalled the 97 Accord I had driven since it was new. It had been a great car, but nowhere near as good as the 93 Accord LX I traded in on it. So, I found a 92 Accord with only 85K miles on it and I love it! This is the best car Ive ever owned. My friends give me crap for driving and older car, but I like it better than anything new Ive driven. No problems at all, peppy performance, very comfortable and fun to drive.

  • Extremely Solid and good car - 1998 Honda Accord
    By -

As my Accord will hit 120K miles soon, I have to admit it is better than all the American cars in this class that are 2004 models. It is agile, reliable, has good grip, and acclerates very well with the 5 speed manual. Fuel economy is excellent. The interior design and layout is flawless, though the exterior is a little boring.

  • Severe Transmission Problems - 1999 Honda Accord
    By -

Transmission on this car is defective (same transmission used in 98-01 models). Apparently Honda doesnt care about 98-99 owners b/c the extended warranty on their junk transmissions only covers 00-01 models. People should know they are not standing by their product and causing far too many owners a great deal of hardship by forcing them to replace the faulty transmissions at their own expense. Do not buy this car thinking you are getting "legendary" Honda quality. That is BS. I guess I should at least thank them for converting me into a Toyota customer (even Chevy Cavalier is looking good compared to this thing).

  • Good value, but missing a few things - 2009 Honda Accord
    By -

Overall, I am enjoying this 2009 EX-L, with auto. It is very roomy on the inside. I can fit, even with a sunroof, at 64". It drives very smoothly and handles well. Its by no means, too firm. It soaks up bumps very well. As for the seats, contrary to others, I find them to be quite comfortable and very supportive. The headrest does not bother me at all. In fact, it actually raises up high enough to provide a rest for my head. It doesnt protrude too far forward. The 4 cyl is peppy. The V6 has a lot more power, but the 4 is sufficient for my needs. The downsides are that it lacks a trip computer, no shiftable auto, fog lights are an aftermarket extra and no power passenger seat.

  • Our Second 04 Accord - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

We were so impressed with my wifes 04 EXV6 sedan that I just bought an 04 EXV6 coupe with 6sp. and navigation. Although the car is fun to drive, a couple of surprises: 1)interior body integrity is lacking- major rattle coming from the dashboard, 2)the supposed "premium" audio system does not sound as punchy as my wifes sedan. Also, be ready for a harder ride thanks to the low profile 50 series tires and sport suspension.

  • Best Decision Ever! - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

Seriously..I looked at all the other cars...This one not only gave me the most for the money, but also gave me everything other cars that cost more money didnt even offer (ie, XM Radio Standard on EX-L)
