Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

about what I expected - 2007 Honda Accord
By TimC - September 5 - 4:06 amI chose the 07 Accord SE over a Camry LE as the Accord has a better engine (VTEC) and to my mind sportier look and feel. I chose the SE specifically since it has the better brakes and tires of the higher-priced models (as well as the six CD changer) but not the luxury accutrements I dont need at this point. Ive always been a fan of Hondas and the Accord has not disappointed me so far. There are no surprises--a great look, super reliable engine and superb engineering.

1996 Honda Accord 25th Anniversary - 1996 Honda Accord
By Torch - September 5 - 2:00 amThis has been a the most dependable vehicle I have ever owned. You get bored with the car before it wears out!!! (I just bought a ford truck) I have been thru 4 sets of tires and a couple complete brake jobs..I think this is due to the weight all in the front of the car and fortunately my husband is a mechanice!!At 122000 miles I am noticing a hesitation in the transmission shifting from 2nd to 3rd in the cold weather until the car warms up. Would recommend this car to anyone.

Nice car but... - 2005 Honda Accord
By pat - September 4 - 3:10 amGood car to drive, but not as fun as previous 96 Accord LX. You notice the weight in corners and stopping but the acceleration during highway merge and passing in straights is wonderful. Not made for cornering. Road noise is intrusive and the radios tinniness doesnt block out the road noise. Drive feedback through the steering wheel is numbing. Transmission shifting is clunky and noticeable especially during smooth, gradual acceleration. Outstanding ventilation controls and headlights.

Love pushing that pedal - 2005 Honda Accord
By jsflan - September 4 - 1:33 amOnly had it two weeks, but this car is much more than my 2001 Accord 4 cyl. trade-in. 240 HP v. 135 HP for starters, and that increases the driving fun exponentially. In my advancing middle age, Im also lovin all the bells and whistles, esp. the XM...but the biggest thrill now is the acceleration, handling and steering. Very fun to drive, at least for one used to a 4 door, 4 banger for the last 4 years.

Lovin my new Accord!!! - 2013 Honda Accord
By janey81 - September 2 - 1:34 amWow - I absolutely love my new car! Honda has really done an outstanding job with the new styling and features! I have always loved their cars and this is my 4th one. I just traded in my Civic that I bought brand new 10 years ago and drove over 161K miles with never any problems! The new Accord is such a smooth ride and I havent experienced any of the road noise that some of the other reviewers have commented on. For the price and value, I dont think any other car can beat this one! Love love love!

Refined - 2003 Honda Accord
By Dsops00 - September 1 - 10:00 amThe power train is very smooth and quiet. For a family car it is fun to drive. Some annoying plastic on plastic rattles, a passenger heated seat back that doesnt heat, a thermometer that is 4 degrees high all the time. Even my Chryslers didnt have these issues. But a sweet power train

Excellent value, but ho-hum feeling. - 2004 Honda Accord
By Vannareth - September 1 - 10:00 amEverything about the 04 Accord Sedan works well as expected...so much so that it almost has no character. The engine is exceptionally quiet and it coasts at 70mph at a little over 2000 RPM. WOW! The front seats are good, but not great like those on the SAAB that I am so used to. There was wind noise at high speed. The speakers sound cheap and I found myself wishing for a replacements. That said the general day-to-day operation of this car is so ever effortlessly easy and that is its greatest virtue. I can live with this car knowing that it will be reliable and efficient, w/o being too boring, and that is exactly what I was looking for.
