Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • A-OK - 2007 Honda Accord

Not exactly a sports car or a family car. The V4 doesnt accelerate as fast as the V6 would but the engine is more powerful when you are already at high speeds. A little too bulky compared to original Hondas

ONLY PROBLEM I COULD FIND, WAS THE INTERIOR CLOTH COLORS ARE "TOO LIGHT" ESPECIALLY FOR YOUNG ONES IN THE FAMILY. TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE IS A DREAM, THE OPEN HIGHWAY SAYS IT ALL. IT IS QUICK & RESPONSIVE. IM HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE.

  • Awesome...upgraded from a 1988 honda - 2004 Honda Accord

This car ia a dream. Navi is awesome and I never get lost anymore. Leather interior and very spacious! Handles like a dream, the same if not better than the audi and bmw that I test drove. Everyone who sees and rides in this car is impressed at the comfort, appearance, ride, navi system, voice activated functions, and style. This is a top of the line Honda with all the features you could want. For the price ($26,600)you get a fully loaded car. For a BMW at that price you get a steering wheel and 4 tires. BUY THIS CAR!! I am not really sure how it will handle in the snow but Im sure Ill be fine

  • Most overated car - 2006 Honda Accord
    By -

I purchased my brand new 2006 Honda Accord SE about five weeks ago and what a disappointment The car is a rattle trap, idles like an old tractor and the gas mileage is nowhere near the one advertised. I went back to the dealership thinking that it might be something wrong with the idle in MY car but surprise... after checking the idle in 6 brand new Accords they all proved to have the same problem. My advice if you are thinking to buy this car is to take a LONG test drive let the car idle with air conditioning on in heavy traffic so you will see if you can put up with the shaking. Do you research... be informed. My other car is a Honda Prelude and is one of the best cars Ive ever driven.

  • A superb car - 2006 Honda Accord

I have read reviews complaining about rattles and premature wear and tear on the interior parts. After 7 months my car is rattle free, vault solid, and the interior is flawless. It handles better than I expected and it is really fast.Itis still a pleasure every time I get in the car - I find reasons to go driving in spite of the current gas prices.

  • Great Car, not getting the gas mileage - 2007 Honda Accord

Love everything about the car. The gas mileage is not panning out. On highway best mileage so far has been 27 MPG. On street stop and go I have gotten as low as 14 MPG.

The only thing I have done to this car is change the oil, the belts and the tires. I do use synthetic oil. Given the performance of this car, I would never own anything but a Honda.

  • I like it... - 2005 Honda Accord

I just purchased my second Honda Accord. The first was a 1997 LX sedan, the second was this 2005 EX coupe. The style is great -- very sporty, with all the features of an Acura TL, but with a much lower price tag. This car is sleek, and gets much attention as Im driving. Its easy to handle and has great acceleration. Im glad I chose to stick with the Honda Accord.

  • Transmission sucks - 1998 Honda Accord
    By -

At 62,000 miles the transmission gave out, cost $1,300 to replace with another vtec, which after 15,000 gave out again. It has no take off speed and is dangerous to drive with an unreliable transmission. It neutralized in the middle of the high- way. Gas mileage sucks, wont buy anther one.

  • Bit Disappointed - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought the Accord as I felt it represented the best value in its category. Unfortunately, I have gotten off to a rough start. On the first morning it would not start in my garage and had to be towed back to the dealer. Turned out the battery had a bad core. While it handles the road very nicely, I am very upset with the hesitation I have experienced. When I accelerate from a stop or very slow speed, there is a hesitation about 40%- 50% of the time. The service manager took a ride with me and said that type of effect was normal for this transmission. In 35 years of driving, I have never experienced this with a new car and have not experienced it with my wifes CRV.
