Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Honda Accord: Think Twice b4 Buying - 2004 Honda Accord

Honda makes a great drivetrain; engine and transmission always seem to work well together and prove to be reliable. However, Ive had continued electrical problems w/ the traction control & ABS. My Accord has 3000 miles on it and been in 5 times to be fixed, Im not convinced they know what the problem is. Honda is unwilling to replace my car with a new one, which is unacceptable. Im now a future Toyota owner.

  • Honda Does No Wrong....AGAIN - 2004 Honda Accord

Ive had the 4 cylinder EX with leather for about a month now, about 700 miles of driving. I cannot say enough about the car, its just does everything right. Having driven Civics for the last ten years, the Accord is a huge step up in every department. The 2.4 liter 4 is plenty torquey (and smooth), so I had no need for the V6. That saved me a couple of grand to get the EX with leather, which feels like a much more expensive car. Everything is laid out well, and Honda adds nice touches like stainless steel interior accents and XM radio. I just dont see how they crammed this much car into a $24,000 pricepoint.

Not only is the Honda Accord 4-dr V-6 with leather interior and Navigation system loaded with all the luxuries, it rides like a dream. Power, performance and looks - My new car is a triple threat and I will always look to the Accord when I need a new car.

  • Near-Perfect Family Sedan - 2004 Honda Accord

This is by far the best Family Sedan I have ever driven. It has a lot of power and gets pretty good gas mileage (its advertised at 30 mpg, I have been getting about 28.5 at an average speed of about 80mph on the freeways). Opt for the top-of-the- line Ex-V6 and you will NOT be sorry!

  • Personal Review - 2001 Honda Accord

This isnt my first Honda. I had a few other accords along the years as well. The car is ok for good fuel economy. I think because there is money spent the resale value/trade in value should be a little higher. I have never had any major problems with any of my accords except the motor mount and the "boots". I however will not be buying another accord again just because they all seem to stay the same. I have a V6 and still drives like the first 4 cylinder I bought back in 93. I do like them but changes need to be made... I have had a 93,95,96,98,2000 and a 2001. So, enough for me.

  • Great car - 1997 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought the 6 cylinder 97 Honda Accord back in Dec 97 as an exchange for a BMW 325 EX and I was very happy I did it. Not only it was more comfortable but also cheaper to maintain. The car was great I say was because they stole it 5 days ago and when the police found it it was destroy by the vandals who stole it. They killed a GREAT CAR Never had a problem with it i will certainly miss it. Now I will have to find another honda to replace it.

  • Great Car!!! - 1998 Honda Accord

This is a great car if you want reliabilty and style. After numerous months of research I settled on the Accord EX V6 coupe. I bought it used with 38K on it and never had a problem. It gives a smooth ride with large trunk space. The only drawback is the seats. After sitting in the seat for about 3hrs, it gets a bit unconfortable particularly the driver seat. I also wish it had a bit more torque for the faster acceleration.

this is a great car. it loves to be pushed. its only a 4 cyl. but it is also very light. the trany is well built. i had to replace the original clutch at 110000mi. which is absolutly awsome. this is a great first car and is easily tunable. i got the car to 150 bhp with just barely over 300$ in engine upgrades.

  • Nine month review - 2006 Honda Accord

Im sick of reading the reviews that say "had the car 2 days, best car EVER". Ive had this one 9 months and it is a great car. I dont buy BMWs or Mercedes or Audis -- just Hondas, so Im not going to complain how this car doesnt compare to them. You want a Honda, then this is the car to buy. The mileage is decent but not Civic-like, but then its a V6 not a 4 cylinder. Leather is comfortable and seats heat well. AC is great and it handles perfectly well (at least at the sane speeds I drive) so I cant help you if you want to drive at 90 mph+. But if youre just an "Average Joe" and just want reliable, decent, fairly priced vehicles, safe for the family, then this is the one to get
