Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

2008 honda flickering lights - 2008 Honda Accord
By Rocky - October 23 - 12:00 amMy 2008 honda accord ex headlights flicker approximately every 30 seconds when the A/C is on. They flicker at idle and while driving. This is a major safety issue and its against the law to have flickering lights on a four wheel vehicle. Honda says this is normal for the vehicle. This is unacceptable and should be recalled.

It is all that - 1999 Honda Accord
By Damn good car - October 20 - 10:00 amYou cant find a more reliable sedan. This is my 2nd Accord. Its quick, theres no need to pay extra for a V6. After 50K miles, its done everything well, almost too well, boring even. But hey, you want to get where youre going or no? I would recommend this car NEW to anyone. I would imagine the used Accord is a good bet also. My sister has a 94 Accord EX, 170,000 mi and has only basic maintenance, no major repairs. Get the leather, its probably easier to clean. You are going to have this car for a long time.

I love it! - 2003 Honda Accord
By MB4 - October 20 - 10:00 amHad my 03 Accord Coupe for 3 days and I love it! Drives like a dream. The 5-speed automatic is new to me Im a die-hard manual user, I dont even miss it! CR stated that the radio and heat controls are not easy to use, who were they talking about? The radio screen is easily read when driving. I do miss the door lock button from my old (01) Civic and the sunroof. The front seats have a lip on the inside edge, a little uncomfortable for one with an ample derriere(sp?). I wish the foglights didnt cost $408. Very sporty looking, great driving, couldnt ask for any thing more. Dealership treated SWF with respect and courtesy.

By ottawa-honda-guy - October 20 - 10:00 amConcerned about several workmanship issues with the new 2003 accords.. i have a sunroof that leeks badly.. lumbar support that roke first thing.. mud guards that came of... its also hard to start in the winter and severl little workmanship issues .. while they are relatively minor.. it is not acceptable for $40,000 Cdn price tag.

2 Days: Amazed - 2003 Honda Accord
By The Jansens - October 20 - 10:00 amThe car is beautifully engineered, and we have few complaints. The pillars give a somewhat large blind spot, and the wipers are easily turned on by knucles when turning the steering wheel

Great Car and Very Safe - 2002 Honda Accord
By iam5050 - October 20 - 10:00 amI bought this car with 12k mls on it 5 monts ago.It now is approaching 30k. I have had no hints of problems at all. The car is very comfortable to be in for long periods of time and it handles very well. I would like to note, I was in an accident recently in this vehicle and it held up remarkably. I was rearended at a dead stop by an older full metal car that was traveling at 30 miles per hour.ALthough there was over 5grand in damage and sever whiplash, i think that it could have been worse. By the way, the airbags didnt pop. I like the car and would suggest it to anyone who is looking for quality at an affordable price.

Dangerous Brakes - 2008 Honda Accord
By Phill - October 20 - 12:00 amOur brakes have had issues and at 24K miles the pads and rotors need to be replaced. This is a known issue that Honda has not addressed. This is my second Honda accord and it will be the last HONDA purchase.

DO NOT BUY (unless you like a vibrating gas pedal) - 2013 Honda Accord
By Rocco - October 17 - 10:57 pmWorst powertrain design ever. At 1800 rpm, VCM kicks on and makes the accelerator and cabin vibrate. Its dreadful. I test drove two and both had same issue. Left a deposit on one and had phenomenal deal but just hated the VCM vibration. Car goes from 3 cyl to 6 cyl and back all the time and not just at highway speeds. We own an 11 V6 and do not have these issues. The 9th gen V6 automatics are royally screwed. Read the reviews. Owners are complaining and some have tried to lemon law. Consumer Reports also does NOT recommend the 2013 V6. Take their advice and save yourself reliability issues down the road. Its a bad design. Honda takes no accountability.
