Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

The reliable machine - 1994 Honda Accord
By Chakradhar - November 1 - 2:00 amI bought my accord 8-year old, and it is two years since then. It has been so faithful to me and worth each and every penny I put on it. Excellent miles/gallon and smooth breaks and gears are the big plus.I highly recommend this car.

Nice car but whats with the P/W? - 1997 Honda Accord
By ImportOnly - October 30 - 2:00 amWe just replaced our 87 Acura Legend Coup with a 97 Honda Accord for my wife and although we love the cars for their overall quality and reliability, whats up with the power window motors burning out? I can understand it on the 87 Acura Legend, but the 97 Honda Accord after having it for only a few weeks that motor on the driver side window stopped working. Honda needs to improve the that power feature of the cars. Everything else is superior to anything else on the road for quality and reliability. Great car!!!

Love this Honda - 1999 Honda Accord
By LoveThisHonda - October 30 - 2:00 amMy first Honda, definately not my last! No comparison as far as quality and reliability from any other car. Comfortable, nice ride, very smooth and quiet. The V6 is AWESOME. Interior and exterior design is outstanding. I traded in my Lincoln for it (loooking for a bit smaller car) and thought I was stepping down in quality. The Honda is by FAR a better Car! Already thinking about getting a 2003, also. I Love this car and if your considering getting one, just do it!

Awful Seats...buyers beware!!! - 2008 Honda Accord
By Nick - October 28 - 1:13 amRecently i made couple of big trips of 700 miles or so, and after that I had terrible back pain. Even for the 1-2 hours ride I had the back pain, must say that seat design is horrible. Overall performance is good but comfort level is poor.

Disappointed in Honda - 2013 Honda Accord
By ralvord - October 26 - 11:11 amHonda made a disfunctional CVT and the battery is drained down to being powerless when the car is parked a few days. These are obvious major problems that should not come along with a $30k car. Honda knew about the rubberband effect and the battery drain on 2013 Civics and Accords yet it did nothing and has still not corrected the issues. This was my fourth and last Honda. Its obvious that they could care less about return customers and are focusing quencing on their appetites for big profits at the time of sell.

2008 Accord - 2nd owner - 2008 Honda Accord
By Haroon Jamshed - October 25 - 10:02 amI love Accords...wait, I used to love Accords. This is my 5th Accord and never again. Ive tried so hard to love it but I will never buy another. Im the second owner and driven it to 108,000 miles and will drive another 100K. Problems are: oil consumption, power steering pump noise, oil consumption, VTC actuator noise (severe) and did I mentioned oil consumption. Im mad tired of the oil consumption. Have to refill every 500 miles even though I have cleaned throttle body, changed spark plugs, air filter, PCV valve...Ive tried Lucas, STP, full synthetic, semi synthetic, nothing works (except Lucas helped but that thing is not oil, its freaking grease and dont use it)! Tired of oil consumption! Call Honda headquarters, called local Honda...nothing will work.

Solid, reliable, inexpensive transport - 1998 Honda Accord
By Danmohiuddin - October 24 - 2:00 amThis is my second Honda which I just bought used with 60K on it. If this Honda is anything like my first Honda (1990 CRX) then this Accord will be a gem to own and drive. Being in grad school I love the fact of the low maintenance and low cost to own. Regarding gas mileage this is easy on the pocket book and also peppy (5 speed) and fun as well. I have heard nothing but positive remarks from Honda owners and I am confident that this will be one of many Hondas I purchase over the course of my lifetime

Not going quietly in San Marino Red. - 2016 Honda Accord
By CC - October 23 - 8:32 amThis cars days are numbered. The availability of a full size (OK, large mid-size) sedan with a manual transmission is nearly "non." Moved up from a manual sports compact with some performance upgrades (suspension/exhaust) to what I believe will be something softer and more mature. The 2016 Accord Sport 6MT is smooth and polished, beautifully built, commodious and quiet. The 6-speed is the most effortless and precise Ive driven. A high volume dealer can help sort some of what is missing from the factory on this trim (heated leather seats) as accessory items. Dont let dealers affect a market adjustment on the car because of "rarity." 6MT Sports are only rare because the take rate is low. You can practically name your price and order it. The dealer will be happy not to have to finance it to sit on the lot. I am in the process of breaking it in slowly, but I will be reaching for that mid-6 second 0-60 soon enough. Wish me luck.
