Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Studied Accord, Camry, Passat - 2004 Honda Accord
By Jerry.....Wis - November 13 - 2:00 amI have studied all four cars for the last three months, drove, researched, service, asked others............ drove a second time....same day... the Accord comes out on top....the smoothness of driving from 0 to 70, you cannot tell, when it shifts. Very sound tight, as I drive 35,000 miles a year. The body comes together with very uniformity on the body lines. The servicing is far better than the others. I have bought six new vehicles previously from GM, Toyota, Nissan, this is far the best!

Some people are never happy - 2008 Honda Accord
By Johnss2k - November 12 - 12:10 pmAfter 8 months and reading some of these reviews I had to chime in. The v6 in my car is awesome. My 5th Accord, 3 had over 300k miles on them. I get 32.7 mpg hwy and 25 hwy when I drive good. When I drive nutty its substantially lower (to be expected by anyone with a brain). People seem to think you can buy something new and abuse it. The car needs to be properly broken is to get the best out of it. I like the option of changing the locking and unlocking of the doors to my preferences. I also have an s2000 another super car. I refused to trade my 1991 Accord in because at 263,000 miles it is still running so good. The oldie will be the parking lot ding car .

2002 Accord V-6 - 2002 Honda Accord
By pioneer79 - November 12 - 10:00 amI am pleasantly surprised how many standard options come with this model. V-6 engine, traction control, 6 CD changer, and , best of all, a thermostat climate control system are features that make this car a remarkable value at $23,500. (It is a better value than the Acura TL for example.) Previous Accords that I owned had the power windows and moon roof, so I am accustomed to those options in a car. I live in New England so the addition of traction control makes winter driving less frustrating.

Love it! - 1995 Honda Accord
By Hil357 - November 10 - 2:45 pmI got this car from a previous owner and I have not had any problems except for one exhaust pipe that needed replacing. I also replaced the timing belt at 95,000 but that should be done anyways. I love the look and the room inside. I put in a CD player but didnt have a problem with the factory am/fm/cassette. It has great power but could be better accelerating from stop. Overall I LOVE IT!

Quality car, fun to drive, reliable - 2007 Honda Accord
By Noel Ness - November 9 - 4:50 pmDriving at 68-70 mph I average around 35 miles to the gallon, In city driving it drops down to around 15, but in the winter time (Wisconsin) with slippery, ices road I only got 21. I love the power of acceleration compared to my 1997 Accord. Love the Honda Accord NN

Affordable sporty luxury - 2009 Honda Accord
By BARLEYCORN - November 9 - 4:46 pmPark the accord coupe next to an entry level ($40,000) bmw, mercedes, lexus, or infiniti, and it will visually blow them all away, for 10 grand less. I just bought a black with black leather interior. Sharp, comfortable, and stylish. EX-L V-6 without nav. The chrome doorhandles, chrome around side windows and dual chrome exhaust and the wheels shout tasteful class. This car puts a smile on my face every time I look at it.

Hail Honda! - 1991 Honda Accord
By Merlin27316 - November 9 - 10:26 amIve been driving this car for 13 years. Ive replaced the timing belt twice as a preventitive measure and kept the oil changed anywhere from 3500-4000 mile intervals. I switched to Synthetic at 200,000 miles and still only lose 1/2 quart between oil changes and that appears to be through gaskets. Original clutch, alternator, A/C, starter, you name it. This car has never "broke down". My daughter rode in this car at 3 years of age and now shes driving it. I should have gone with the automatic trans but couldnt afford it at the time.
