Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Worth The Wait - 2006 Honda Accord

This car is incredible! The first time Honda has produced a six speed in a four door, what a pleasure to drive. Its quick, responsive, fun to drive, no comparison to anything remotely close in price range. I ordered a Carbon Bronze with Ivory interior, this car looks sharp. The close ratio six speed, what a trill to drive. Its like driving an S2000 with four doors! The clutch is alot easier than the previous coupe 6 speed manual transmission, not as touchy, much much smoother. My first tank of gas, I averaged 23.6 mpg, combination city and highway 50/50.

  • Honda Accord- Good Buy - 1999 Honda Accord

Good engine power: "a lot of get up & go" classy interior excellent gas mileage nice size for traveling (room enough for 5 to travel) there have been a couple recalls i.e. driver seat adjusters passenger side door lock has been occasionally not working with the power locks (must lock/unlock it manually) well-built car, the body of the car held up well in a fairly bad wreck overall, I love the car and have very few complaints= excellent buy!

  • Things Have Been Fixed and Im Happy now - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

We finally got everything fixed. The dealership was awesome in handling all the problems Ive written down, and trust me there were many, but now, the car is great no problems, no rattle nothing. We have 26,000 miles on it and its really doing great. I blew the speakers once because there was a defect in the back speakers, the dealership suprisingly fixed it without any question. I think the dealership was shaken when my mother said that we had to buy a new car and probably werent going to buy another Honda if its like this one has been.

  • Best Car Ive ever had,Ill never sell it. - 1992 Honda Accord
    By -

Well, I bought this car with low miles (87,200) from an elderly woman, the car ran great, was garaged its entire life, and looked like new inside and out. I did spend money on maintenance, totalling $2400 alone, and had originally purchased for $1600, so $4000 isnt bad for a car thats impeccable, hasnt been mistreaded, and still has alot of life left in it. I sold it a few months after I bought it because I was desperate for money. I recently got a call from the woman the purchased it from me asking me if I would like to purchase it back from her. I did!!! I didnt want to sell it to begin with, but as the saying goes: "If you love something, let it go, if it comes back it was yours..."

  • Great Except Brakes - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

We have owned Accords since 1983, all have been great cars. I have bought 9 Hondas since 2005. But like everyone else, the rear brakes are a real headache. Numerous problems with rotors and pads and dragging the parking brake. 97% of our miles are interstate, so we dont use brakes much, I cant imagine how many problems I would have if we urban commuted. Honda has been stonewalling the brake problem for months, if you are out of warranty, too bad. Even if you have had repairs under warranty that didnt fix the car right. They just dont care.

  • Wow - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

Purchased this vehicle after careful review of the Camry, Altima and Malibu. Uncomfortable in Camry, Had a Nissan before, rough ride. Test drove Honda and enjoyed the firm yet very comfortable ride. Fuel economy is great. Drove from Lafayette, LA to Orlando. Averaged 33.5 mi/gal. Same on trip to Houston. Overall averaging about 25-27 MPG. Handles very well, sure footed. If you like to drive and want great economy pass the other cars mentioned, this is the one youll enjoy.

I previously owned a 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. Now that was a fast car but thats about it. This car is a dream from the GAS to the STYLE to the COMFORT. You will not regret your choice I PROMISE.

  • My First Auto Purchase - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

I want to first say that Im completely satisfied with my purchase and couldnt ask for a better looking/performing car for the price range. I commute about 20 miles to work each way and the V6 gives me more than enough power and kick to pass with ease. The suspension feels tighter than that of a camry, and the car handles very well considering its larger size. Aestetically, the cars new redesign is off the charts. The front end is mean, along with the chrome accents on the handles and the dual exhaust that separates the V6 from the I4. Dash is very convinient despite reviews. This car looks elegant with the chrome, yet dashing and sporty. A-OK in my book

  • We Love Honda Accords - 2006 Honda Accord
    By -

This is our third Honda Accord and we still have a 4 door 1998 Accord in excellent condition. We sold a 1993 model, still in great shape, to buy this one. Its very pleasant to drive, nice feel to it, comfortable. We love the way the Accord handles.

  • Upgraded to a 2013 Accord from a 2012 Civic - 2013 Honda Accord
    By -

Wow, what a great car the new Accord is. I was so dissatisfied with the cheap feeling 2012 Civic I very quickly traded it in. Honda blew it with that car, but Im happy to say Im pleased with Honda again. The Accord is comfortable, get close to Civic gas mileage. Get the Accord by all means.
