Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

2003 Accord - 2003 Honda Accord
By accord2k3 - December 1 - 10:00 amIve had my Accord Coupe for the past 10 months and the fun has yet to stop. Heads still turn and questions are still being asked, definately a conversation piece. Not only does the Accord boast a sleek, stylish design, the v6 packs a PUNCH! Theres nothing cheap looking or of cheap quality about this car. I enjoy my Accord so much that I sometimes need an excuse to go somewhere! Spend the extra money on the v6, its truly well worth it.

2003 EX-L V6 w/Navi - Graphite Pearl - 2003 Honda Accord
By jebinc1 - December 1 - 10:00 amNice car. Sold my 2000 EX-L V6 and bought this one. Got the soundproofing for $350, the full wing for $500 and the car for $26,500. Much quieter than the 2000. Tranny hesitates a bit going from Rev. or neutral to Drive. Once there, it is very smooth. Love the interior, but I felt the need to self install a day/night mirror with compass. Dont buy from dealer; buy online. Same parts. Overall, Id give this ride a 9.1. See suggested improvements

2018 Accord. Another Terrific Generation! - 2018 Honda Accord
By VMK TX - December 1 - 8:19 amAfter owning a 2013, 2014 and 2016 Accord I was excited about the new generation. The first thing that stood out when I sat in the vehicle is improved his visibility. The dash is low and the pillars are thin giving you terrific visibility. Navigation and heads up display are now properly placed (high) on dash. I was a little troubled initially because there was no full-time tachometer visible on the display. The factory ships this in the off position. It can be turned on full-time in settings and all of your other information is displayed in the center of the tach (looks great). There is a lot of discussion regarding the 1.5 L turbo. I have always bought the four-cylinder in the past for gas mileage. I keep the vehicle in eco-mode and have not noticed a difference in power with this engine versus the previous 2.4 L Others have mentioned engine noise but it is not noticeable in the touring model due to the acoustic glass on the front and sides. Engine is not broken in yet and I have already achieved over 40 mpg on the highway on several trips

Reliable and thats about it! - 2010 Honda Accord
By LLBytes - December 1 - 1:13 amIf you are looking for a car that is very reliable and you dont want to worry about break-downs then this is the car for you! I never had any issues with the car other than the breaks which is a known issue. Every year I had to purchase new pads and/or rotors. Thank God I found a trust-worthy repair shop near my house that only charged me $300 to replace the pads and rotors! The engine otherwise was solid. It drove the same and performed the same no matter the weather conditions. I owned this car for 7 years and at year 5 I replaced the battery, which is expected. I had 4 main personal issues with the car. First, the ergonomics were horrible. The head rests were not adjustable and very uncomfortable. The seats were really, really hard and it took too long to find a decent driving position. My back would hurt after driving for 30 minutes. The rear seats in my opinion were a lot more comfortable. Second, the car was too big and it sits really low, which made it hard to parallel park. Its size lead to my third issues which was the performances. This is a large car and it really felt like it. The engine always seemed to struggle and highway passing and merging was a bit tricky. The steering was accurate but very heavy at slow speeds. Everything felt labored with the car and driving took a lot of effort. Lastly, the suspension was too stiff. I like a great handling car just as much as everyone else but this particular model was just too stiff. You can and will feel every bump in the road! Forget about rough roads. I felt like I needed a helmet regularly. The prior model and the subsequent model were light years better than this particular Accord. I like the Accord but due to my very bad experience with this one, I will be very caution about buying another Honda Accord.

Impression After 2 weeks - 2005 Honda Accord
By DJ - November 30 - 5:56 pmIve only had the car for a couple weeks now, but have come up with some initial impressions. Pros include a quiet engine, nice exterior stying, and nice layout of controls. Cons include the following, the car is not smooth riding, you feel each bump, windshield rattles, and seats are uncomfortable. As the previous owner of a 2003 Camry the Toyota is far superior in ride and comfort.
