Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Make it again & Ill buy it! - 1990 Honda Accord
By Armes - December 8 - 6:16 pmI have never had a more reliable car. The first owner svcd car well, and that matters. I am sad that Honda doesnt own or prevent common problems (like an $8 O-ring hold down bracket that could have saved my oil draining and getting all over my new timing belt) until too late. Private mechs had been adding the bracket when changing the belt for yrs! I asked about common problems at my last svc, and they mentioned radiators, but wouldnt let me spend the money that day. Sure enough, it started to leak, and I have a new one. Those are the ONLY 2 major repairs I have had in 6.5 year

Dont buy this first model year car - 2008 Honda Accord
By dwest - December 7 - 9:33 pmThe 2008 Accord was a new model year which also included a redesigned brake system. The new brake system includes a new electronic brake distribution system that is not properly designed and results in premature wear of the rear brakes. My rear brakes only lasted 19K miles. Google this issue to find out more before considering this car.

Good car for the price - 2003 Honda Accord
By Photoarts - December 7 - 10:00 amIve bought an Accord V6 EX in January. The 5sp auto transmission is much smoother than typical Hondas but it still hesitates to downshift. The ride has very good damp and not too harsh like the Maxima SE but it does not corner as well (trade off here). Too bad they leave out some of the convenient features that should be standard in this car: memory seat, heated outside mirror and steering wheel, fog lights and auto dim rear view mirror. The fog lights and auto dim mirror cost a fortune as a dealer options. All in all, a decent car but I think that the Maxima is a still better car for the money.

Great Value for Money - 2003 Honda Accord
By AL P - December 7 - 10:00 amThis is our first Honda and both my wife and I drive this car. Great handling, fun to drive, very good gas milage, and descent power for a 4 cylinder. This car looks luxurious in black and we receive alot of compliments. This car is a bargin however it should include more standard features like traction control, outside temperature readout, and cargo net.

How Sweet It Is . . . - 2003 Honda Accord
By LEA - December 7 - 10:00 amThe 03 HONDA Accord EX V6 offers pure luxury car features at moderate mid- sized car pricing, much less than Camry, Altima SE 3.5, or Passat, on a par with Mazda 6; and the V6 Mitsu Galant is not in this class any more, I think, having just rid myself of one. For an all-around passenger car with all the features you could opt for, this is the car to buy. The "driveability" of this car is awesome. But add in the refinement, quality, and the reliability of the HONDA, and this becomes a world class bargain.

First time Honda owner - 2003 Honda Accord
By Jay Knows - December 7 - 10:00 amWell, yesterday I purchased a 4 door, EX, 4 Cyl w/ Leather. 160 miles later, The car is amazing. I was considering in buying the TSX, IS300, TL, and even a C Class. I have researched every vechile out there, and the Honda, is an affordable way to enter the comfort of lux, while having a reliable and stylish sedan. The car handles tight, the interior is excellent, the exterior grew on me. The gas mileage is much better then my 2001 EB Expedition. I am planning on driving this car for 200+k miles. Well done in 2003.

Plenty of room! - 2008 Honda Accord
By Eicherts4 - December 6 - 1:33 amIm a little over 61" and my Accord has tons of room! Very comfortable drive, holds the road very nicely and a blast to drive. Like every car there are things I would like to see changed but overall you cant beat the quality of a Honda. It has a lot of pep, really moves for a 4cylinder! You wont find a better car for the price.
