Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Our family was badly in need of a car. Starting price of anything of any type of quality was approx. 25K. Looked at several vehicles. Jetta TDI: great mileage, poor build quality of the car. Passat: nice car, addl $$ for premium gas, not as big of interior as accord, dealer that we would utilize for service not clean. Volvo S40: nice car, small in size, about same as Jetta, very well built. Accord Sedan 4 cyl: great car, great quality. Our winner: Accord Sedan EX-L V6: great car, great quality, excellent fit and finish, lifetime dealer warranty on eng/trans, ULEV/PZEV, power when needed/wanted, best financing avail., nearly identical mpg as 4 cylinder d/t VCM.

  • Love the Car - 2005 Honda Accord

I just bought the 2005 exl accord, I love the car. The interior is the best, I love it and it is comparable to the more expensive luxury cars like BMW and AUDI. Ride is quite and smooth, the only thing I would change in the next model is give it some more power on the accelaration. It lacks the initial strength for takeoff, and it is understood because I have the inline.

  • My Third Accord - Best Yet! - 2004 Honda Accord

I bought one of the first Accords with an A/T in 76 and have been a fan ever since. In the last five years Ive owned an Odyssey, CR-V, and this new Accord. This is the best of the lot. Super comfortable, amazing handling and really quiet. I was amazed at the leg room in the back seat, even with the front seats pushed back. This is my around-town car, so the four banger is plenty of power with sweet gas mileage. 17+ gallon tank means passing a lot of gas stations along the way. Even the paint is superior to other cars in this price range.

  • 2008 Accord, what a car! - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

I spent a long, long time researching and reviewing the cars available to meet my needs of a family sedan. I considered many makes and models, both foreign and domestic. Based on my particular needs and taste, the 08 Accord won hands down. I have had the car for only 3 days and driven it about 200 miles. It is a truly remarkable vehicle. The V6 is so smooth and powerful, with no perceptible change as the motor switches back and forth between running on 6, 4, or 3 cylinders. The ride and handling are outstanding. The ivory leather interior is outstanding. The dash is very impressive with the burl wood trim. The quality is so high, I havent heard one squeak or rattle. I love it!

  • Great car for the money - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

I have had this car for about 4 months now and i must say that overall its one of the best cars I have owned. At first the gas mileage was a disappointment, but as the car is now breaking in (3800 miles) its getting better. As of this morning when i filled the tank i got 28.7 MPG and that was a mixture of highway and city driving. As far as style is concerned, its a real attention getter and i get many compliments on it. My only complaint is that it seems a bit sluggish. I figured 190 HP would have had more punch to it, but maybe this will get better as it breaks in more.

Ive had the car now for 2 months and have been very happy with it. Its a great value for the money and looks more like it should have an Acura badge than a Honda. Ive been in an Acura CL Coupe and this car is very similar - maybe even nicer inside.

  • Best car for buy and sell - 2002 Honda Accord

I have always driven Honda Accords, I have accord 92 with 110k miles, everything still original and still like new,and the value of the car is still good even after few years. This 2002 accord I alwyas use for a long distance traveling and very fun and comfort. Once you have driven an accord, you never want to drive another car.

  • Best Accord Yet - 2005 Honda Accord

We went back to a Honda Accord after a few other makes (and one Civic SI) since our 97 Accord. This model is light-years ahead of our last Accord. Very smooth fast acceleration, quite ride. Great highway car. XM radio is terrific and the sound system is good. Would like to have memory seats. The tires need upgrading. Otherwise one terrific automobile.

I have owned 4 Hondas and have enjoyed everyone of them. I currently have a new body style Accord EX-L and a 1992 LX with over 130,000 miles on it. Everything still works and nothing is falling apart. For the money and value you can not get a better car.

  • great car, love it - 2004 Honda Accord

I put on 9k miles in 6 month, not a single problem. I got around 30 mpg with combined city/highway driving, very good mileage for a mid-size sedan. Great power and very comfortable. You wont go wrong with the accord.
