Overview & Reviews
As the model was fully redesigned for the 2003 model year, there are only a few changes on the 2004 Honda Accord. Availability of side curtain airbags has been expanded this year to four-cylinder EX models -- standard on those with leather, optional on cars with a cloth interior. All four- and six-cylinder EX models equipped with a leather interior now have XM Satellite Radio with three months of free service as standard equipment. And as with all Honda cars this year, a new seatbelt reminder system is standard. Accord models meeting California's stringent Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (PZEV) standards -- all four-cylinder sedans equipped with automatic transmission -- will also be sold in the states of New York, Maine, Vermont and Massachusetts.
- Tight build quality, quiet cabin, refined and powerful engines, reputation for quality and durability, high crash test scores.

Dynastic Succession - 2004 Honda Accord
By Jd Texas Flyer - July 22 - 10:00 amThis is my 8th Honda in two decades, deciding in its favor once again after comparing against the Mazda6 (close) and the Toyota Camry (grandmas car). Once again, the combination of economical performance, relatively refined engineering, value retention, and dependability made the choice easy. Although the exterior finish quality is less than expected (multiple paint bubbles on hood, make-ready finish scratches), this current version of a quite successful automotive dynasty appears to be the finest in a long line of Accord / Civic purchases, many of which were "still going" very well after 250K miles.

My Honda - 2004 Honda Accord
By phat10465 - July 22 - 10:00 amExcellent car overall. Smooth ride, Sleek body, the V-6 is a wise choice. I am very satisfied with the 2004 Honda Accord. I get complements on the car all the time.

Just Purchased 2005 - 2004 Honda Accord
By dreamer123 - July 22 - 10:00 amJust purchased an 05 Accord. The main change in styles was the rear tail lights. Compared this car with the Acura TL, albeit they are different cars. The quality of the accord is excellent by my standards. Creature comforts are really nice. I researched a number of cars and found the Accord to be pound for pound superior for the price. The final selling feature for me was this 6 cyl, 240 HP engine which uses regular gas! The quality of Honda is tough to beat. Ive got a Civic with 280k miles on it and I only put several hundred bucks (above maintenance) to keep her going. In sum, if you buy this model I think you will be pleased.

Love it! - 2004 Honda Accord
By Kris Hamilton - July 22 - 10:00 amI am a Europien trained sport car type of driver for many years but I am now in my 40s. The Accord is a real piece of driving art for an automatic.

Naysayers are right - 2004 Honda Accord
By JR - July 19 - 2:13 amI am here to agree with the naysayers. There are build and quality control issues with the 7th generation Honda Accord. I own a 2004 EX with 1700 miles on it. Ever had a mosquito buzz in your ear? No? Drive my car awhile and youll get the idea. Creaks and rattles from the driver window, front windsheild, and center vents. Sound annoying? It is, making an otherwise solid car feel cheap. Yes, the ergonomics are great. Yes, the 4cyl is smooth. Yes, it handles capably. But whats the point when you cant enjoy the ride? When upon leaving the car you twitch with frustration?

I love this car!!! - 2004 Honda Accord
By Richard Murphy - July 3 - 10:00 amMy Accord EX V6 is an outstanding vehicle. Offering high quality and value at a reasonable cost. Its as good as a BMW at slightly more than half the cost. I love the performance and sport-like handling. 0-60 mph is less than 7 seconds, while economy is 21/31 mpg City/Hwy., what a great combination!!

2nd Accord - Still in LOVE! - 2004 Honda Accord
By jrkstl - July 3 - 10:00 amThis 2004 model is the second Accord that Ive owned, and my love affair has only grown! The newest generation offers surprisingly more than my 2001 model with the same trim, and the power increase so far seems dramatic. The interior fit and finish is flawless, and in black leather looks way more expensive than it is. While the body style of the 4 door isnt for everyone, I think Honda got the Coupe just right. It seems smaller on the outside, but much larger inside. I love this car!

Great Car - 2004 Honda Accord
By Bud Walker - June 27 - 2:00 amGreat car. Ive had the car for exactly one year and I have never taken it back for a single warranty defect. Ive never had a car like that before. The only thing that I would like to have is a memory on the power seat and a graphic equilizer on the radio. Excellent radio (120Watts) without the equilizer Im just being picky. Excellent quality leather seating with adjustable lumbar support and heat! I would recommend this vehicle to anyone.

I Love my Accord - 2004 Honda Accord
By chi500 - June 20 - 2:00 amI love my Accord. It is fun to drive, quiet, and comfortable. I drive 60 miles a day on my commute to work and it is a dream. The standard stereo is great and I would recommend keeping the XM that you get for free for the first 3 months.

Fast Fun, and never lost - 2004 Honda Accord
By arcgangel31280 - June 15 - 10:00 amI have had the car for a little over 7 months. The car handles real well and accelerates like a demon. I had a 1999 Chrysler 300m before this car, and for the most part am glad I changed. Even though the Accord is 13hp less then the 300m it acccelerates faser and is much more refined. The Navigation system is a must have, but hasnt always steered me the best way. It doesnt always have the up-to-date info, and I have the newest disk.
