Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

first car wasnt as perfect as expected - 2004 Honda Accord
By jay57 - December 31 - 2:00 amI have heard many good things about honda. My sister and girlfirend have used ones which work fine but for some reason with my new honda that wasnt the same. A week didnt pass by when the trunk release broke. I got it fixed by honda. Also I started getting this rotten egg smell and took it back to honda. They told me the catalatic converter had to be changed and they changed that. As for the service that was another story. Each time i went to honda for a problem i had to wait 3 plus hours. When they serviced my car they put two oil stains on my trunk which couldnt come out easily. The honda dealership gave me wash.

Not very impressed - 2006 Honda Accord
By Bob - December 30 - 10:06 pmDrove a 2006 Accord (EX, V6, Nav) one day, took it on the usual route. The car would shake at idle. I figured with a V6, this car should be rock solid. Not much power. The nav system is horrible! I dont want to talk to my car. Just give me a button to press. Car rode a bit rough, seats were nice, cabin was somewhat quiet. Overall, not very impressed. Car did not feel like it was bolted together very well. A shame too because Ive always wanted an Accord. I ended up purchasing a Maxima.

honda - 2002 Honda Accord
By CLEVELANDEX - December 30 - 10:00 amBoring as it may be, the reliability, quality, and smoothness for the value is unmatched. The 2003 looks like a true winner. The 03 rear looks like the Benz, and the front looks like the acura CL with the overall body shape of the Nissan Altima. The new V6 is 240HP. You want excitement from an Accord? the 03 is the closest youll get from a midsize.

Very Disappointed - 2002 Honda Accord
By TPKEARNEY@aol.com - December 30 - 10:00 amIve owned Accords for 21 years. THIS WILL BE MY LAST ONE! Ive had the driver seat replaced 3 times. The cushion becomes crushed and leans to left. Honda refuses to fix it anymore. The drivers seat doesnt go back far enough, Im only 510". What happened to your quality? Now small things are going. For example, overhead light doesnt come on when door opens, headlight warning buzzer and key alarm doesnt work either. The gas peddle is too high above the floor; very dangerous. Overall driver comfort/room is awful i.e. too narrow & arm resting on door lock knob(why the design change? That was dumb.) Im already talking to the Camry salesman & will buy one.

If I could do it again I would! - 2008 Honda Accord
By Sabrina - December 28 - 6:06 pmThe only cars Ive ever owned have been Mustangs (last 2 were GTs). After having yet another problem with the stang, I decided to trade it in and drove past Honda. The minute I saw the Accord, I liked it. I doubted that the 4 cylinder would be enough power, but I test drove it and its quick. Its no 8 cylinder GT, but it also gets double the gas mileage and so far, no problems. The major factor in my decision was that its also recommended in Consumer Reports. I didnt want another pile of car crap that was going to give me issues, and Honda has an excellent reputation. The rear is not the most attractive, but I plan on getting a body kit installed, so it wasnt a factor.

So far so good - 2007 Honda Accord
By Jason - December 28 - 10:30 amOverall i love the car! It has great pickup and a smooth ride. A few things Ive noticed. The AC pulls on the engine a little and you can actually tell a difference in performance with the AC on verses off. I notice it more when going from a complete stop to start or basically going from traffic light to traffic light. Sometimes you can feel it jumping a little when its changing gears. Its funny because i have friends with an 06 and 05 model and they all say theirs performs in similar ways. So maybe its just a Honda thing. Its my first front wheel drive vehicle. Love how the car feels and Ive gotten lots of compliments on it.

Listen Carefully - 2016 Honda Accord
By louis - December 28 - 10:27 amIt is a nice solid car for the price. However, the wind and cabin noise when going over 60 miles per hour is excessive and certainly doesnt live up to the industrys standards or Honda. If you are looking for a quiet highway drive, take a long test ride and listen carefully.

New to Hondas - 2005 Honda Accord
By Bill - December 27 - 5:06 pmIve had my Honda for about 2 weeks now and its great. Nice smooth ride and tons of standard features. I originally looked at Acuras and got most of the same stuff for a better price with the Honda. The interior is comfortable and there is plenty of room in the back seat for an adult. Oddly, the fact that it is so quiet and smooth has one drawback...in the 5 speed its hard to hear the engine revs with the radio on so you better watch the tach!

Vibrations - 2013 Honda Accord
By samson70 - December 27 - 9:14 amWhen I hit the 1800 to 2000 RPMs there is a vibration I feel in the steering wheel. I also may feel it in the gas pedal. I brought the car back for it first oil change and told them at the dealership. I was told it maybe the wheel alignment, which they did. The problem was still there. I brought the car back again and this time the mechanic drove the car. He told me that it is a six cylinder car that changes to a lower cylinder number thats what causes the vibration. I think they are lying and dont know what the problem is. I will ask to talk with the factory representative. The car is a leased vehicle with approx. 8200 miles.
