Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Our first Honda - 2003 Honda Accord
By karoled - January 13 - 10:00 amThis car looks terrific and accelerates very well for a four-cylinder. It also gets great mileage: on a recent trip, we got 37 miles to the gallon. The interior is roomy and the ride is smooth and quiet. In fact, we think it deserves Car & Drivers car of the year for 2003.

2003 Accord Rocks!!! - 2003 Honda Accord
By Boxer123456789 - January 13 - 10:00 amThis car is a dream to drive. It is the closest look, feel, and ride as you get with out dropping 50K+ on a Beammer. I cant say enough about how much Honda has outdone themselves.

Still On Top - 2003 Honda Accord
By Bob Schumacher - January 13 - 10:00 amThe 2003 Accord is the third in a row for us since 1987. It just keeps getting better! We almost never have a problem, including the 1991 that had over 100,000 miles when we upgraded late last year. And most amazing, we are getting better highway mileage now with a 240 HP V6 than we did with the old Honda 4 cylinder with half the HP. It is a very responsive, roomy and well built car that is always there when you need it. What more can you ask for?

Comfortable, agile, manual transmission sedan - 2017 Honda Accord
By Nicholas Keen - January 12 - 7:56 amThe car doesnt corner as flat as a BMW and doesnt have the most powerful engine at this trim level, but it is quite fast and toss-able on a country road. The slightly gruff, very responsive character of the non-turbocharged 4-cylinder has won me over. The engine loves to rev, feels alive and is your friend for a fast drive, as is the handling, which is agile and sure footed as long as you feed the car some power through fast corners -- if you lift off or are timid with it, it can get a bit twitchy and nervous. On balance Id much sooner have this car with its absence of electronic add-ons, than an option-laden front-heavy V6 that is great for freeway acceleration but doesnt not have the balance of a four and is lumbered with an automatic transmission. Having come from European and U.S brands, it was great to get into a new car and have simply nothing wrong with it. Best points: engine performance; handling; steering; reliability; the standard halogen headlights are very effective -- really as good as HIDs; value for money; passenger space; San Marino Red color. Worst points, minor stuff but: stereo sounds boxy and tinny with a treble bias that cant really be dialed out (lessons to be learned from GMs ability to get decent balanced sound from a modest system); Bluetooth radio streaming sometimes fails -- may be the iPhone at fault; Im not doubt in the minority on this but I would prefer a fully manual climate control system -- this one does not seem good at holding a comfortable temperature and airflow volume in winter when set to full auto with a setting of, say, 72 degrees (but summer A/C performance seems strong). Overall, this car does pretty much everything I care about very well and I am glad I bought it.

I love it - 1996 Honda Accord
By HOnd - January 11 - 12:05 pmI bought that car with a salvage title. It was in two major wrecks before. Recently it was totaled again. I decided to rebuild it - thats how much I like my Honda! The car runs exceptionally well. It has 115,000 miles on it, but it looks and drives like brand new. My recommnedation is to buy 4 cyl. EX with 5spd - it is fair on gas and yet when the VTEC kicks in... say astalavista.

My Ride - 2006 Honda Accord
By genia - January 11 - 7:43 amThe drive of this vehicle is so wonderful it is hard to describe. I must say that engine is seems like a low lull that sometimes I forget that it is. It doesnt use too much gas. I was able to get from Northern California (San Jose) to Southern California (L.A.) with a single tank of gas, furthermore, I a tank of gas last me a whole week of driving on L.A. streets and freeways.

Should have bought one sooner - 2008 Honda Accord
By Kent - January 9 - 1:33 pmI recently bought a 1.5 year old EXL w/Navi. I traded a 2005 Infiniti GSX, and should have done it sooner. I owned an Acura for 8 flawless years and am a Honda fan, but a friend whos a sales manager at a dealership called to say he had a clean 08 accord, and I jumped at it. Bang for the buck its hard to imagine a better vehicle. Its very comfortable, remarkably large inside and just an overall great vehicle. It is far more refined than the G (granted, the G is an aggressive car) but the fit and finish are much better. The mileage is great, and Ive had to get used to stopping less for gas. For you non-Honda people, try one, and try the Accord. It deserves the raves it gets.
